Natasha Michael

Reservations Executive

Traveling the world and exploring the different cultures around the world has always been a big passion of mine. So when I had the opportunity to study BTEC travel and tourism in secondary school, I took it with no hesitation, it was the best decision I ever made and set me on a career path I truly enjoy. Studying travel and tourism at school gave me a head start in college, where I studied for my level 3 travel and tourism diploma. Once I received my diploma from college, I took a job at Birmingham airport, where I was able to interact with customers and ensure they had the perfect start towards their dream holiday. The things I love to do in my spare time are spending time with my family, watching supernatural and crime shows, reading, and listening to music.

I started working for pure breaks in June 2021, as part of the reservations team. Where I have learnt how to create holiday itineraries, this has made me more confident in my writing skills and has made me more passionate about traveling the world. It has also shown me how important sustainable travel is and how you can still have the perfect holiday, whilst staying somewhere local that benefits the community rather than in some big fancy hotel that only benefits one person.

I can speak 3 languages fluently, English, Hindi and Punjabi. I learnt Hindi and Punjabi from my family as it is my grandparents native language, I can also speak a little bit of Urdu.

What was the most interesting place you’ve visited?

The most interesting place I ever visited is the Taj Mahal, in Agra, India. It is a beautiful Mausoleum filled with culture, history and amazing stories. In my opinion it is one of the best places to visit in India.
