Entim Camp

Entim Camp has been carefully cultivated to offer one of the warmest, most intimate and luxury safari experiences in the Maasai Mara. It is a prime spot to witness the Great Migration every year, with Entim guests usually among the very first to witness all the action – over a million zebra, wildebeest and antelope crossing over from the Serengeti plains! To stay at Entim Camp isn’t to stay at just another lodge or hotel, it’s to feel like being a part of the wilderness itself. Entim Camp is the perfect location to combine restorative relaxation with vibrant safari. Guests need not go further than their private verandas to be privy to some of the best wildlife sightings in the Maasai Mara.

Entim, meaning “forest”, is discreetly located on the ‘edge of the riverine woodlands’, looking out over the Mara River with glimpses of the Great Rift Valley in the distance. Its position in the heart of the Maasai Mara National Reserve sets up its potential for amazing safari experiences that aren’t limited by public closure of the Reserve in the evenings.

Entim Camp is a 5 hour drive from Nairobi but guests can take transfer flights to the Ol Kiombo Airstrip, which is 7km from the camp.

Maasai Village Visit

One can never truly know the Maasai until they’ve visited a Maasai village. Guests are offered this wonderful opportunity to learn all about the local people, their vibrant culture and traditions. It’s also a great time to buy souvenirs and lovingly made handicrafts from the Maasai women.

Entim Spa

If you’re feeling the need to unwind Entim Camp has a spa to help you rest and rejuvenate. The spa offers a wide range of massages, hand and foot soaks and facial treatments so however you’re feeling, there will be something for you!

Pack for a Purpose

Entim Camp proudly supports the Pack for a Purpose project, where guests are encouraged to pack a little extra something in their luggage to donate to local communities and schools. Entim Camp supports Molibanny Primary School, which has 50 pupils aged 8 to 12 years from villages on the edge of the Maasai Mara. Guests can make their donations in person or entrust them to the camp.

Plastic Waste

Entim Camp became concerned about the large amounts of plastic used on the site, especially through plastic water bottles, and the carbon emissions caused by the production and transportation of plastics so decided to actively reduce their plastic use. Guests are provided with reusable stainless steel bottles when they arrive and the camp has also introduced glass water bottles to prevent the use of non-biodegradable plastic bottles.
