Victoria Falls River Lodge

Victoria Falls River Lodge is secluded in the outskirts of the Zambezi River. Set in the most pristine location, the lodge offers amazing sights of the renowned Victoria Falls. At Zambezi National Park, due to the area being remote and undisturbed, guests can experience exceptional wildlife adventures which can be discovered on game drives, walking safaris and leisurely river cruises offer game viewing from a different perspective. Awaken to sensational views of the sunrise and picture perfect views of the sunsets.

During your time here visit the gift shop situated in the main lodge and bring some trinkets home for friends and family, all exclusively crafted by high quality arts and talented local artists. Go on an exhilarating adventure, such as a Tour of the Falls (excludes entrance fee), Sunrise and Sunset River Cruises, Morning and Afternoon Game Drives and Bird Watching.

Victoria Falls and the Zambezi National Park

The Zambezi National Park is 560 kilometres² of untouched and pristine nature. The wide sparkling Zambezi River sits as the park’s northernmost border, with stretching luscious grasslands, glistening floodplains and mopane woodland making up the varied topography of the park, and acting as home to a number of wildlife species. Wandering through the park are buffalos, elephants, leopards, antelope, zebras, giraffes, and impala, as well as over 400 species of bird filling their air with their calls.

Roughly half way down the Zambezi, and close to Islands of Siankaba, is the natural wonder of Victoria Falls. This waterfall is the largest curtain of falling water in the world, at 1708m wide, and occurs at a point where the Zambezi River is more than 2km wide. The falls has the local name of ‘Mosi-oa-Tunya’, which means ‘smoke that thunders’ and the beauty of the thundering water makes it easy to understand why it is one of the seven wonders of the world.

Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero Lodge

Located in the Kasane Forest reserve, the lodge is known for its angelic beauty and often referred to as safari heaven. Spend your days discovering the beauty of your surroundings, on exhilarating game drives around the reserve, where you will get the opportunity to look for the Big Five (lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos and buffalos). Or go on a relaxing sundowner cruise and search for hippos, who are known to lounge around by the river. Experience a photographic safari cruise which offers exclusive and intimate interactions with the animals in order to capture the perfect shot. At an additional cost you can experience a fishing excursion.

For those on a family trip, Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero Lodge offers a children’s program, with a wide range  of activities to explore to keep them entertained. Walking safaris are conducted within the grounds of the lodge for children to learn about tree identification by collecting pods, leaves and seeds scattered across the area. Children will also participate in a ‘safari hunt’ with clues and hints hidden around the lodge, kiddie croquet on the lawn, shortened game drives and make your own pizza classes with the resident chef.

Chobe National Park

Located in the north of Botswana, Chobe National Park stretches over 11700 square km of land and is home to one of the largest concentrations of elephants on the African continent. There are no fences within the park, meaning that wildlife and game are able to roam freely. There will be nothing between you and the exciting interactions of nature. Watch elephants drink and bathe in the river with their families, view hippos out of water in the middle of the day, and observe the Puku and Chobe Bushbuck antelopes – which cannot be encountered anywhere else in Botswana.

andBeyond Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge

Located in a private concession in the Okavango Delta, alongside the Moremi Game Reserve, this camp is known to draw its inspiration from nature, as the lodge blends into the landscape, providing an experience that is serene, earthy and organic. The lodge was built in this location specifically for its extraordinary beauty and proximity to the game-rich grassy plains. Throughout your stay at andBeyond Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge, you will get to participate in some exhilarating adventures searching for the Big Five (lions, leopards, elephants, and buffalos) on exciting game drives as well keeping an eye out for cheetahs, hyenas, wild dogs, hippos, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes.

To discover the smaller wildlife creatures you can go exploring on a bush walk, with a specialist guide who will show you all the hotspots to encounter. Go bird watching and be on the lookout for a number of species like the white-backed vulture, grey go-away bird, and the vibrant lilac-breasted roller. For those feeling adventurous, you can take a “bird’s eye view” of the delta on a mindblowing scenic helicopter tour for an additional cost. andBeyond Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge offer a WildChild programme filled with exciting activities for your child to enjoy ranging from animal tracking, arts and crafts to even making some bow and arrows.

Okavango Delta

Botswana’s magnificent Okavango Delta is situated within the boundaries of the Moremi Game Reserve and exists as the world’s largest inland delta, exhibiting a labyrinth of deep lagoons, large lakes and hidden, meandering channels. The Okavango Delta is a maze of lagoons, lakes and hidden channels covering an area of over 16,000 square km in flood and shrinking to less than 9,000 square km during the dry season. Trapped in the parched Kalahari sands, the fresh water oasis attracts a variety of wildlife that depends on the permanent waters of this unique wilderness.
