Whether staying in bed, unwinding in the lounge area or taking advantage of the private terrace, the views are always spectacular. Hosts will deliver food that has been pre-arranged to meet your requirements, allowing you to use the fully equipped kitchen to cater specifically to your personal desires. Guests can choose to use the pool to cool down when the temperature is at its hottest or use the Jacuzzi in the evening when it gets cooler.

There is just one room at the property and it is perfect for couples due to its privacy. Designed with both space and serenity in mind, the views that overlook the property stretch as far as the eye can see; the stunning desert in all its glory. The room provides everything you could need when staying in such a deserted location; air conditioning, complimentary Wi-Fi, cooking facilities and electrical outlets. There is also a fridge, mini bar and lounge area to unwind in, a perfect place to relax as the sun sets over the Namib Desert.
The large balcony makes this stay all the more luxurious, as does the private pool, Jacuzzi and fireplace. This allows guests to cool down in the day when the desert is at its hottest and then unwind as the evening rolls in to the sound of the fire crackling. Other amenities include a shower, dressing gowns, a hair dryer and complimentary tea and coffee.
All meals, snacks and local drinks are included in the rates. Meals are pre-arranged with guests to suit their dietary needs and guests have access to their own cooking equipment, cooking facilities and a fridge within the room. There is also a complimentary mini-bar provided in the room.
Walking and trails are in abundance here, offering guests guided walks or trails that they can take themselves on should they wish to share an experience exclusively with their travel partner.
Safaris and game drives are available within the local area and experienced guides will teach you all about the wildlife including the wild animals as well as the flora and fauna. Animals that roam within the Gondwana Namib Park include oryx, zebra, wildebeest, ostrich, cheetah, foxes, jackals and birds. Breath taking views as far as the eye can see make this all the more memorable.
For those who wish to remain alone during their stay, they are able to rent an e-bike and hosts can provide guests with a trail map that leads to the distant Naukluft Mountains.
Taking a trip in a hot air balloon will allow you to admire the desert from a whole new point of view, taking guests directly above the sandy dunes and rugged mountains. It is the perfect chance to creature a treasured memory when travelling with a loved one.
A guided drive will take guests through the Gondwana Namib Park to discover the desert and its wilderness. Other general points of interest within the Sussuvlei region include NamibRand Nature Reserve, Duwisib Catle, Sesriem Canyon and Namib Naukluft Park.

Recycling bins are available to guests at the property and all efforts are made to ensure that food wastage is minimised.
The property has water-efficient showers and water-efficient toilets installed at the property. It also offers its guests the choice to opt out of daily room cleaning and gives guests the option to reuse towels in efforts to reduce water consumption.
The property uses 100% renewable electricity throughout and has also installed energy-efficient LED light bulbs throughout. There is also an electric car charging station. The property also reduces its impact by offsetting a portion of their carbon footprint.
Non-domesticated and wild animals are not displayed for entertainment or profit and guests are not encouraged to interact with them. They are free to roam in their natural habitat safely. There are also green spaces at the property and guests are encouraged to rent bicycles when travelling to reduce their carbon footprint.
Desert whisper is not suitable for anyone 13 years old or younger. Anyone who is 14 and over is welcome as long as the guest numbers still only amount to two.
