Along with your private chef, you have full access to a private guide and your own safari vehicle, for a personal, tailored experience through and through. Spot a pride of lions, herds of elephants and creatures big and small any time of year.

Photography Hide

What’s a safari holiday without snapping some incredible photos? At Safari House you can take full advantage of the double-story photography hide that sits just metres before the watering hole and take photos you’ll treasure forever.

Etosha Heights Rhino Protection

The black and white rhino populations within Namibia, and across the world, have long been under threat from poachers. Within the private reserve of Etosha Heights, highly trained rangers work within the anti-poaching camp to protect and preserve the precious rhino population from illegal hunting. “Combined with the new state of the art anti-poaching surveillance technology, this team is a force to be reckoned with”.

Sesfontein Boarding School

In northern Namibia, not a million miles from Safari House and Safarihoek is Sesfontein Boarding School. Children from isolated and remote corners of northern Namibia attend and board with very few means. The Natural Selection Foundation have begun support the school and the children who attend it, firstly by providing beds for the children to sleep on. The support is on-going, and guests are welcome to contribute school supplies. If you wish to support the school, find out what is most needed during your visit, by inquiring with Safari House, so you can support the school with exactly what they need.

Citizen-Science and Wildlife Monitoring

Monitoring wildlife is a vital part of their protection, but this can be incredibly costly in both time and resources. This is why Safari House and all Natural Selection Foundation properties have partnered with Citizen-Science, a growing initiative that uses tourist shots of wildlife in the effort to track precious species across the continent. This works by uploading your holiday pictures to the Citizen-Science platform, and providing the location of the shot. This way the scientists who receive the images can better understand the magnificent animals you spotted.

Solar Power

Safari House, just like the adjacent Safarihoek Lodge, is sourced from solar power! When you’re there you can admire the impressive solar panel set up near the Lodge, that means both properties are entirely energy-efficient.

Child Friendly

Children of all ages welcome.
