Nestled between the main Bucuti Beach building and the infinity pool, the Bungalow Suites are in their own round building on the path that leads to Eagle Beach. Two of the bungalows have stunning beach views while the other has a view of the lush tropical garden. Each Bungalow Suite has a king-size bed and a stylish bathroom with a walk-in shower. These rooms can accommodate 2 adults per room.

The Tara Suite overlooks Eagle Beach giving you a stunning view of the sand and sea. The spacious suite features a king-size bed and a separate comfortable living area. Situated on the second and third floors of the Bucuti Wing, the two Junior Suites overlook Eagle Beach. The Tara Penthouse Suites are located on the rooftop of the Tara Wing. Each one offers spectacular views over the beach and dazzling ocean. The large terrace has a daybed and lounge furnishings for you to relax on as you admire the view. The open-plan living space features a full living area with a large flatscreen TV and dining room that leads directly to a full size and fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances. The separate bedroom has a king-size bed with plush pillows and a stylish en-suite with double granite counters, a modern tub, and a walk-in shower. The Penthouse also gives you a reserved and private cabana on the beach for use during the day.

Elements Restaurant offers an unforgettable culinary experience accompanied by a fantastic view of the ocean. The menu is filled with globally inspired dishes full of organic ingredients from sustainable seafood to natural meat and locally grown produce. There are dishes that will delight every, even the vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free guests.

Breakfast: 7:00 am to 11:00 am

Lunch: 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm

Authentic Aruban & Caribbean Lunch Buffet available Mon – Sat in addition to regular menus from 12:30pm until 2:30pm

Take dinner under a private cabana on the beach with a fabulous ocean view of the sunset or moonlit water. The swaying palms and soft candlelight is sure to make it feel as if magic is in the air. Dinner includes complimentary wine or champagne, a choice of appetizer, main course, dessert, and tea, coffee, or espresso. Reservations for the romantic dinner must be made in advance, as there are only four cabanas available.

Purun is a small facility that offers two petite spa rooms and a range of services. A range of massages, facials, wraps, and signature treatments are available for you to choose from. In-room massage and treatments are also an option, as is having a massage in the ocean view cabana.

There are a number of different events that happen on the property of Bucuti & Tara such as Healthy Hour at SandBar (daily at 3-4pm), Happy Hour at SandBar (daily at 4-6pm and 9-10pm), live music at SandBar (5-7pm and 9-11pm), Local Arts-Local Eats (Monday 5-7pm), Authentic Aruban Dinner at Elements (Mondays), and free movie night under the stars (Saturdays and Wednesdays on the beach at 8pm).

Bucuti & Tara has an extensive list of activities available at a cost. If you want to try something out on the water there is a range of options from paddle boarding and snorkeling to sailing and sunset cruises. There’s a range of guided hikes through the beautiful landscape, private tours, UTV tours, and the ability to rent a car so you can discover the area at your own leisure. Among the other activities, you can also go fishing, scuba diving, horse riding, and golfing.

Bucuti & Tara Beach Resorts work to help preserve the environment and nature through monthly beach clean ups with guests and employees, and discourage guest activities that are harmful to the environment. They also use eco-friendly cleaning products and have an outdoor deck that’s made of recycled materials. The turtle nesting areas on the beach are marked with appropriate signs when necessary and reduced lights are used at night during turtle nesting season.

Bucuti & Tara supports the local community by buying local artwork to decorate the resort, and using locally made toiletries – Aruba Aloe. The resort doesn’t offer an all-inclusive program and encourages guests to experience local restaurants. They also donate to several local non-profits including Animal Rights Aruba, Donkey Sanctuary, and Imeldahof orphanage.

Bucuti & Tara offer eco tours on the property for schools as well as eco tours for employees. They give presentations at regional conferences about the best practices, sponsor environmental Public Service Announcements, and have a green channel on in-room TVs detailing their green practices.

The resort uses a range of initiatives to save water from installing water saving taps and toilets to loading washing machines to full capacity before use. They also use grey water for irrigation in the garden and the sprinklers are on timers that are adjusted depending on the amount of rainfall. Bedding is only changed on Wednesday and Saturday, on request, or check out, the same for towels change.

Energy saving initiatives in place at Bucuti & Tara include LED bulbs across the property, solar panels producing 20% of their energy, motion sensor lights in public areas, and timers on lights in offices and some public areas. The water is solar heated and energy saving appliances have been installed. The windows are insulated and they track the consumption of electricity.

In their commitment to reducing, reusing, and recycling materials, the resort has a range of initiatives in place. They use reusable water canteens and coolers to reduce the amount of single-use plastic they use. At check out they have electronic signatures instead of on paper. They recycle aluminium and green glass and leftover food is donated to local farmers. Old furniture is reused or sold for refurbishment and they buy products in bulk to reduce the amount of packaging.

The floor covering in the Fitness Centre is made of old recycled tires, and the towels are made out of old beach towels. Leftover bread from breakfast is used to make croutons and bread pudding and no disposable items are used. There are no disposable fliers in the resort, all fliers about activities are laminated.
