Offering expansive views of the water, the ocean suites have floor to ceiling windows that allow for stunning views and a light-filled environment during your stay. The 72 square metres of space makes for open-plan bedrooms and seating areas as well as large bathrooms with their own bath tub and a walk in shower. These suites are split-level and four pairs of these suites are able to interconnect should you wish to travel in a large group or even for a wedding.

Located on the family-dedicated area of the resort, the beach balcony suites can accommodate up to four people as each suite has two separate bedrooms and a balcony off the master bedroom to admire the beach view. Both space and privacy are permitted all while never being too far from the beach. The master bedroom has a king size bed whilst the second bedroom has twin beds.

These suites are located on the ground level meaning guests who stay here have the pleasure of waking up directly on the beach, perfect for families and children. The master bedroom has a king size bed whilst the second bedroom features two twin beds. Carlisle Bay boasts only four of these exclusive suites. Each one is spacious, bright and offers every detail. Being oceanfront means guests here are offered unobstructed views of the Caribbean from the terrace. This suite also accommodates up to six people, perfect for large groups or families looking for luxury. There are two types of Carlisle Suites available.

Suite A boasts its own kitchen, perfect for those looking to entertain or prepare food and drinks. Suite B has an L-shaped terrace that provides uninterrupted views in every direction to admire. Both room types feature a large sitting room area that extends onto the outdoor terrace for complete comfort during your stay. Indigo on the Beach allows guests to dine whilst enjoying the stunning ocean views. The room is open-sided with its own terrace, merging with the sand that it rests upon. Guests can stroll in as they please for a drink and snacks throughout the day. Dinner is served as the sun sets and guests can dine on seafood, salads, pasta and freshly baked bread as they admire this stunning setting.

East Restaurant attracts guests from across the island as it has a reputation for being one of the best restaurants to dine in on the island. This spot serves Thai, Japanese and Indonesian dishes, all crafted by a multi-national culinary team. This sophisticated dining spot is also recommended for wedding breakfasts or family occasions.

Ottimo serves authentic Italian meals in a relaxed setting. Sitting poolside and under the shade, guests can enjoy both lunch and dinner here. The wood-fired oven makes beautiful tasting pizzas and other menu options include salads, antipasti and gelato.

The jetty grill is adult-only dining, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a romantic meal or a group meal with friends. The relaxed atmosphere invites guests to enjoy the gentle sea breeze and stunning view of the Caribbean Sea. Food here is locally sourced, serving a Caribbean fusion of flavours with fresh ingredients.

Situated on a secluded stretch of white sand behind the main beach, The Coconut Grove offers comfort amongst swaying palm-fronds and small tables. The intimate feeling is made all the more special during sunset underneath the light of tiki torches.

Carlisle Bay has its own organic beauty spa on site, offering a host of treatments such as facials and massages. There is also a beauty salon on site where guests can enjoy the luxuries of a manicure, pedicure or new hair style during their stay. Using CARA Organic treatments, guests will leave feeling rejuvenated and relaxed.

Wellness is also taken care of with the resort’s own yoga pavilion that can be used for regular group classes as well as a private class should you wish to book one. Located in a peaceful corner of the tropical gardens, guests will be able to unwind with a stunning view. The fitness centre is also close by, offering guests an outdoor gym.

The screening room shows films 3 times a day with 2 earlier screenings catering to young children and the evening screening being more suited to adults. Visitors can also book the screening room should they wish to host a meeting or presentation.

Non-motorised water sports are available at Carlisle Bay and a wide range are complimentary, such as sailing, snorkelling, kayaking, windsurfing and paddle boarding. Each sport is suitable for beginners and lessons and equipment are both available should you wish to improve upon your technique.

Motorised water sports are available in a neighbouring cove to prevent disturbances to the tranquillity of the beach. These include water skiing, wakeboarding and tubing. The resort also boasts a large free form pool as well as scuba diving facilities in the water sports centre for those who wish to explore under the sea.

The resort has a tennis school which you can enrol in and has several tennis courts as well. Private yoga as well as personal training is both available at the resort and with a fully equipped outdoor gym, guests are able to keep up with their fitness if they wish to do so.

Carlisle Bay offers a complete schedule of organised kids’ activities to young guests at the resort, from toddlers to teenagers. The host of programmes are ran by qualified childcare professionals and offer an immense amount of facilities such as water sports, tennis courts and a film screening room. Children can also be supervised on the beach at the Kids Club. Open seven days a week from 8:30am until 12:30pm and in the evenings from 1:15pm until 4:15pm, parents can be ensures that their kids are in safe, capable hands.

Guests are welcome to experience the Caribbean Sea and hire out a luxury yacht for a day cruise. Alternatively, the resort can organise a charter boat and experience skipper for those who want to see what deep sea fishing is like and give it a go. Other excursions in Antigua that are worth a visit include Stingray City, where guests can swim alongside these magnificent creatures and feed them as well as visiting The Antigua Rainforest Zip line Tour, both an eco-tour and an adventurous day out for the whole family.

An array of international designers has been curated for The Bay Boutique. The resort have also partnered with swim and resort brands Love Brand and Heidi Klein to create collections for the resort itself. Open daily from 10am until 6pm, guests can visit and unwind whilst shopping here.

Fish that is served at the resort is locally caught such as the Mahi Mahi, Caribbean Red Snapper, King Fish and Yellow Fin Tuna. The lobster that is served is also caught in the resort’s own protected bay.

The resort allows guests to lay a sash across their bed to let the maid know not to change their sheets, an initiative to reduce water usage. The water at the resort is also potable as the resort has its own desalinisation and osmosis filtration system.

Gardeners at Carlisle Bay use organic pellets to reduce bugs and insecticide spraying is not allowed at the property.
