Our Jungle Camp
Our Jungle Camp is nestled in the Khao Sok Rainforest in Thailand, meticulously designed by the renowned pioneer of tourism in nature, Dick Sandler. He has made the experience fully inclusive of the awe-inspiring natural surroundings which offer incredible views of the river, cliffs and diverse wildlife. Sustainability is at the forefront of what this unique array of lodges focuses on, through giving work to nearby villages, using resources sustainably and providing eco-friendly methods of farming.

Our Jungle Camp is located 1.2 km from Khao Sok town centre which is an approximate 15 minute walk. The closest airport is the Surat Thani Airport, taking around 1.5 hours by car to the property.

Accommodation options consist of a variety of tree houses, bungalows, earth houses and bamboo huts, each equipped with mosquito nets, a fan and private bathrooms.

The earth from our property formed the bricks of these beautiful rooms, inspired by the Spanish colonial design. These are wheelchair friendly.

Views of limestone cliffs framed above open rice paddy fields. These huts are built purely of bamboo gathered from the area and are built to allow you to truly connect with nature.

Guests can enjoy a variety of modern and traditional Thai cuisine at the on-site restaurant, appropriately called “FARM”. Other amenities offered include a bar serving local drinks and an on-site organic farm where the vegetables and fruits are used by the locals nearby and in the making of the dishes for the restaurant. With a cooking class offered, you can pick your own produce from the farm to use.
Enjoy an overnight lake experience on Cheow Lan Lake & Elephant Encounters or join a jungle trek through the forest to be truly immersed in nature. Participate in an Etchial Elephant experience where you can get close and personal with the worlds gentle giants. If journeying down or up a river is your thing, we offer canoe tours, safari trips and river tubing so you’ll never be bored here at Our Jungle Camp.
Eco-tourism is at the heart of Our Jungle Camp with each visit supporting nature education and organic sustainable agriculture. All rooms are built from carefully sourced bamboo and renewable materials. We are able to minimise power and reduce plastic waste.
Through education on sustainability, the community based camps supported by Our Jungle Camp inspires Thai children to be community leaders in sustainability. This includes activities such as tree planting, bird watching and growing indigenous Thai herbs and spices.
The property is child friendly with baby seats, child beds and child friendly activities provided.
