With pressing environmental issues threatening our future, Ongava is once again responding to the needs of the planet and its guests with the creation of Anderssons at Ongava and the Ongava Research Centre (ORC), the next generation in eco-tourism. Taking a lesson from the wild in the power of symbiotic relationships, Anderssons at Ongava provides an interactive hub for guests to be a part of conservation science, where cutting edge technology meets hands on, field-based research. There’s a swimming pool perfect for cooling off in the Namibian sun, and enough space for everyone to put their feet up. In Safari House you can come together over beautiful food and spot lions, cheetahs, elephants, and so much more just on your doorstep, what could be more magical?

Kazile Island Lodge

Kazile Island Lodge is a beautiful and elegant place to stay found on a private island on the Kwando River, in the heart of KAZA. Kazile is one of only two accommodations situated within the Bwabwata National Park itself, along with its sister lodge Nambwa. The Lodge is home to no fewer than thirteen Meru tents hidden away in the bountiful Mangosteen forest. The tents offer incredible views of both the Kwando River and the extensive floodplains between the island and the infamous Horseshoe Bend. Sitatunga, an elusive aquatic antelope, can be spotted on the floodplains and marshes, providing guests with a rare opportnity to see these animals. This incredible corner of Namibia is hard not to fall in love with, with amazing sunrises over the trees and wildlife traversing every corner.

Nambwa Tented Lodge

The magnificent Nambwa Tented Lodge is situated within the heart of KAZA and is the only lodge that can be found inside the Bwabwata National Park. The lodge offers ten beautiful tents that are hidden away high up in the majestic Jackalberry, Sausage and Knobthorn trees. Respecting the elephants’ natural right of way through this area, the lodge is built with luxurious comfort in mind above the African landscape. As the sun goes down, guests get to uniquely experience the spectacle of Africa’s night-time wildlife as it unfolds down below.

Namushasha River Lodge

Experience this Zambezi kingdom from 24 chalets dotted along the leafy river bank. Join the Caprivians in song and dance at the traditional heritage centre, salute wizened elephant giants in the Bwabwata National Park and glide through wild waterways. Revel in Namushasha gold. Guests will also be able to enjoy the nature that makes this country so great, such as by taking fishing trips and boat cruises. Beauty is also on offer at the property itself, with guests being able to enjoy stunning views that overlook the leafy river bank and hippo pool. With 24 chalets available at the property, each is incredibly comfortable while also allowing guests to feel as though they are truly experiencing Namibia. The lodge boasts an outdoor pool as well as features in each room including; en suites, air conditioning and hot and cold water. Comfort is key, as is enjoying the beauty of Namibia itself.

Swakopmund Guest House

Swakopmund Guest House offers those who visit a relaxed atmosphere and old-world charm. Offering just seventeen rooms it makes for a private place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Each room has an En-suite, mini bar and a television. Wi-Fi is also included making for a comfortable stay. Those who visit will be able to take part in a number of activities such as sand boarding across the desert dunes, taking a dolphin cruise as the sun comes up and a living desert tour on a 4X4. A trip here will have any guest feeling refreshed and trying out once-in-a-lifetime activities in the world’s oldest desert. It is situated in the town centre of Swakopmund which was founded in 1892 during the period of German colonial rule and once serves as the main harbour for the territory for many years. Today it is surrounded by lush greenery, palm trees and public gardens for visitors to explore.

Camp Jabulani

Named after a member of their resident elephant herd, Camp Jabulani is a Relais and Chateaux accredited luxurious safari camp. Elegant and comfortable suites offer guests a unique opportunity to stay in the heart of the bush while still enjoying the luxury hotel atmosphere. 6 suites which come in a double or twin configuration are full of character and comfort, with large beds draped in mosquito netting and ensuite bathrooms which include a feature stone bathtub. For an extra touch of luxury, a private villa is available which comes complete with a private butler, guide and chef.
After a long day spent exploring the diverse surroundings guests can arrange a unique hot air balloon trip at sunset, or a sundowner canapé treat. Meals served at Camp Jabulani are creative, fresh, and delicious and can be enjoyed in the privacy of your own room, or under the wide starry sky.

Desert Homestead Lodge

Desert Homestead Lodge is the perfect oasis for guests to visit Namibia’s most magnificent and undisturbed location.
