andBeyond Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp

andBeyond Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp, located near the perimeter of Okavango Delta, offers elite wildlife sightings due to its location bordering the Moremi Game Reserve. The camp is made up of modern and stylish tents, combining luxury and integration with the environment, as each tent offers sensational views of the surrounding area and sweeping landscapes. This camp offers private bush dinners, breakfasts in bed, lamplit cocktails on a river island, or a walking safari with alfresco picnic, all provided with pleasure by Nxabega’s warm and friendly staff.

More Quarters Hotel

Each apartment offers guests a comfortable room with an ensuite bathroom, air-conditioning, a television, and a fully-equipped kitchen. Breakfast is served at the hotel but lunch and dinner can be enjoyed in one of the local popular restaurants along Kloof Street – which locals refer to as ‘the heart of Cape Town’. If you are in the mood to relax then unwind with a drink in the tastefully furnished sitting room. Helpful members of the concierge service can arrange airport transfers, day trips, restaurant reservations, and adventures suitable for the whole family.

Victoria Falls

Roughly halfway down the Zambezi River, and close to the Islands of Siankaba, is the natural wonder of Victoria Falls. This waterfall is the largest curtain of falling water in the world, at 1708m wide, and occurs at a point where the Zambezi River is more than 2km wide. The falls have the local name of ‘Mosi-oa-Tunya’, which means ‘smoke that thunders,’ and the beauty of the thundering water makes it easy to understand why it is one of the seven wonders of the world.

Okavango Delta

Botswana’s magnificent Okavango Delta is situated within the boundaries of the Moremi Game Reserve and exists as the world’s largest inland delta, exhibiting a labyrinth of deep lagoons, large lakes and hidden, meandering channels, covering an area of over 16,000 square km in flood and shrinking to less than 9,000 square km during the dry season. Trapped in the parched Kalahari sands, the freshwater oasis attracts a variety of wildlife that depends on the permanent waters of this unique wilderness.

Cape Town

Cape Town is the oldest and second-largest city in South Africa and hosts the Parliament of South Africa. It’s a popular destination for international tourists due to its mild climate, natural setting and well-developed infrastructure. Ideal for hikers, Table Mountain and Signal Hill make for impressive views of the City Bowl. The beaches are also popular with both residents and visitors, with the city’s unique geography making it possible to visit multiple coasts in one day.

Recommended activities (at an additional cost):

Game Drives

Enjoy the traditional safari experience of a thrilling game drive through the wilderness, all the way to the banks of the Masuwe River. Head out in the early morning to beat the heat of the day, and experience the bush waking up. Or you can head out in the late afternoon as the sun sets, to experience the bushveld in a magical golden glow, with some of the nocturnal creatures coming out to say hello. No two game drives are the same, and it is recommended that both a morning and an evening game drive are experienced.

Sunset Cruise

Relax on the Zambezi Explorer’s signature deck, and be served refreshing drinks and tasty snacks as you drift leisurely along the Zambezi River. A genuinely idyllic way to appreciate your surroundings and soak up the last of the sun’s warm rays. Look to the banks of the river for animals lounging around, cooling themselves off and grabbing a drink from the shallows.

White Water Rafting

For the adrenaline seekers, white water rafting is available. Head out to the rapids of the Zambezi River and test your strength and bravery as you take on the choppy waters. Paddle rapidly down the river and enjoy your day, as you’re likely to be laughing as much as you’re concentrating.

Victoria Falls Guided Tour

Spend the day on a guided tour around the magnificent Victoria Falls. With a friendly and professional guide walk in the footsteps of some of the earliest explorers, and traverse through thick forest and rocky paths to some of the best viewing points around the falls. By the end of the day you won’t just have amazing memories to return to the lodge with but a deeper understanding of the history and significance of the waterfall.

After breakfast, you will be collected from Stanley and Livingstone Boutique Hotel by an andBeyond representative who will transfer you to Kasane Airport by road. Please be aware that your transfer involves clearing customs and immigration formalities at both the Botswana and Zimbabwe border posts.

An andBeyond representative will be waiting to welcome you once you arrive at Kasane airport to help assist you onto a light aircraft for your transfer to Nxabega Airstrip. Keep your cameras ready as you will be greeted with some breathtaking birds-eye views as you fly over Mopane bushveld before reaching the breathtaking lagoons, winding waterways and grasslands of the Okavango Delta (an approximately 80-minute flight).

Adventure awaits you during your 3-night stay at andBeyond Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp, where you will reside in a luxury tent with an ensuite bathroom which includes a shower. Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits, beers, refreshments on game drives, scheduled safari activities, and laundry, as well as transfers to and from the airstrip.
