A truly bucket list ticking experience, this itinerary will take you through South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Botswana – highlighting all the very best nature and sites of interest these countries have to offer. Experience an explorer’s dream by visiting the magnificent Victoria Falls located on the mighty Zambezi River. When visiting the magical Okavango Delta in Botswana, known best for being an oasis of grassy floodplains and emerald lagoons, you will be able to catch sight of a whole range of wildlife residents.
Your adventure will draw to an end when you visit Cape Town, which is recognised as one of the most peaceful and spiritual cities in the whole of Africa. Cape Town is bursting with adventures and activities for travellers to experience – from gourmet restaurants, trendy nightlife scene, thriving cafés, sublime wine tasting, unique architecture, a rich history and a melting pot of cultures. Boredom is not heard of in this city, as it offers an adventure for everyone.

When you land at Victoria Falls International Airport there will be an andBeyond representative waiting to greet you. You will then be transferred by road to Stanley and Livingstone Boutique Hotel.

Game Drives
Enjoy the traditional safari experience of a thrilling game drive through the wilderness, all the way to the banks of the Masuwe River. Head out in the early morning to beat the heat of the day, and experience the bush waking up. Or you can head out in the late afternoon as the sun sets, to experience the bushveld in a magical golden glow, with some of the nocturnal creatures coming out to say hello. No two game drives are the same, and it is recommended that both a morning and an evening game drive are experienced.
Sunset Cruise
Relax on the Zambezi Explorer’s signature deck, and be served refreshing drinks and tasty snacks as you drift leisurely along the Zambezi River. A genuinely idyllic way to appreciate your surroundings and soak up the last of the sun’s warm rays. Look to the banks of the river for animals lounging around, cooling themselves off and grabbing a drink from the shallows.
White Water Rafting
For the adrenaline seekers, white water rafting is available. Head out to the rapids of the Zambezi River and test your strength and bravery as you take on the choppy waters. Paddle rapidly down the river and enjoy your day, as you’re likely to be laughing as much as you’re concentrating.
Victoria Falls Guided Tour
Spend the day on a guided tour around the magnificent Victoria Falls. With a friendly and professional guide walk in the footsteps of some of the earliest explorers, and traverse through thick forest and rocky paths to some of the best viewing points around the falls. By the end of the day you won’t just have amazing memories to return to the lodge with but a deeper understanding of the history and significance of the waterfall.

After breakfast, you will be collected from Stanley and Livingstone Boutique Hotel by an andBeyond representative who will transfer you to Kasane Airport by road. Please be aware that your transfer involves clearing customs and immigration formalities at both the Botswana and Zimbabwe border posts.
An andBeyond representative will be waiting to welcome you once you arrive at Kasane airport to help assist you onto a light aircraft for your transfer to Nxabega Airstrip. Keep your cameras ready as you will be greeted with some breathtaking birds-eye views as you fly over Mopane bushveld before reaching the breathtaking lagoons, winding waterways and grasslands of the Okavango Delta (an approximately 80-minute flight).
Adventure awaits you during your 3-night stay at andBeyond Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp, where you will reside in a luxury tent with an ensuite bathroom which includes a shower. Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits, beers, refreshments on game drives, scheduled safari activities, and laundry, as well as transfers to and from the airstrip.

Game Drives
You can head out on an exciting game drive while staying at Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp. Traverse the intricate delta landscapes in an open 4×4 safari vehicle, and keep your eyes peeled for lions, leopards, buffalos, elephants, hippopotamuses, and herds of giraffes and zebras in the distance. Every game drive will give you a new and unique experience of the breathtaking Okavango Delta and the animals which call it home.
Seasonal Mokoro Excursions
To truly experience the peace and quiet of the mesmerising delta you can head on a traditional Mokoro excursion. Climb into a traditional African dugout canoe and your guide will gently paddle you through the smaller winding waterways. Take a deep breath to truly take in your surroundings, and keep your eyes peeled for a lazy pod of hippos, colourful reed frogs, and birds wading in the shallows. Head out at sunrise to experience the sun rising over the horizon and lighting the water with hues of pink and gold.
Bush Walks
Lace-up for an adventure like no other and be sure to bring a camera, as you don’t want to miss the opportunity to photograph the meandering animals synonymous with authentic African safari game viewing. An area is chosen at the guide’s discretion, in keeping with safe distances from large herds of elephants and buffalo. The distance and area for each walk may differ depending on the season.
Seasonal Motorised Boat Excursions
Set sail for the river delta in this once-in-a-lifetime safari adventure. Traverse open waters in hard bottom aluminium boats as professionally licensed guides take you on a journey through the winding channels of the Okavango Delta in search of neighbouring islands and aquatic game, ensuring a truly remarkable maritime safari experience. Boats are equipped with comfortable seats, a foldaway canvas roof and life jackets as standard.

After a delicious breakfast, you will be able to enjoy a short but exciting game drive during your journey to Nxabega Airstrip, where you will embark on your scheduled flight to Maun International Airport. Become captivated by views of the glistening lagoons and palm tree-dotted islands as you fly over the magical waterland (an approximately 25-minute flight). Connect with your flight from Maun International Airport departing to Cape Town International Airport.
An andBeyond representative will be waiting for you at Cape Town International Airport, transferring you to More Quarters Hotel. Enjoy views of Table Mountain as you drive into the city, renowned as being one of the most spiritual places on earth with the humming city of Cape Town at its feet.

Table Mountain Half Day Tour
With an extraordinary concentration and diversity of flora, variety of fauna and unique geology, the mountains are best explored on foot. Guests can explore the peaks with certified mountain guides, who will ensure you have a safe and memorable experience.
Cape Town City Tour, half-day
Guests can join a half-day tour of the city to see the sights, and experience modern-day Capetonian life, as well as that of bygone eras on visits to historical treasures. They can look forward to summiting Table Mountain by aerial cable car; exploring the 17th century Castle of Good Hope; sampling regional Indian, Chinese, and Turkish street food at the Eastern Food Bazaar; having koeksisters for dessert from a Grand Parade square stall; to mention but a few exciting activities.
Cape Point and Winelands Tour
Guests can visit the historical towns of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. They will be treated to a minimum of three wine tastings at some of the Cape’s most renowned estates and can take a cellar tour (on request) at Delheim Estate, Babylonstoren farm, or Waterford Estate (wine and chocolate pairing is also offered here). An eventful day ends with Vergenoegd Löw Wine Estate’s Runner Duck Parade – the amusing daily ritual of a flock of Indian Runner Ducks waddling back from the vineyards, where they assist with natural pest control.
