Upon arrival at O.R. Tambo International Airport, you will be met by an andBeyond representative and assisted onto a flight to Phinda Private Game reserve. There, you will be met by an andBeyond representative and transferred to Phinda Homestead.
Embark on a 4-day adventure at Phinda Homestead with amazing activities to enjoy throughout your stay. Kickstart your trip with a game drive conducted in a 4×4 safari vehicle where you will have the opportunity of spotting amazing wildlife such as cheetahs, African wild dogs and many more. Enjoy an interpretive 1-hour nature walk accompanied by a trained guide, who will help interpret the surroundings of the reserve to track your favourite animals.

Embark on a full-day adventure where you can explore the game reserve with various activities. After a morning and afternoon game drive, enjoy a luxury walking safari accompanied by a professional ranger and tracker. Walk in the footsteps of wildlife as you get up close to the African wilderness. Walking safaris can be tailored to suit your requirements and preferences, just ask one of the lovely rangers to help you.
For an additional cost, take part in the capturing of a Rhino for research purposes. Alongside a professional team, experience the exercise of ear notching or collaring an animal which will help to protect them from poachers. This experience is done in a safe environment and the professional team will ensure the safety of both you and the animals.

Phinda offers great wildlife viewing throughout the year, however, the best months are during winter (May to September). During this time, animals are more easily spotted while they convene at permanent water sources, and the dry conditions cause the bush to recede.
