This itinerary is best for its romance and wild beauty, which attracts couples, avid photographers and safari enthusiasts alike. During your trip you will receive the chance to experience an abundance of wildlife, whether it be on the open plains and wetlands of Botswana’s Okavango Delta, tracking the Big Five on an exhilarating safari in Chobe National Park, or even exploring the labyrinth of pristine waterways in a traditional mokoro.
Whilst travelling in Zambia you will visit Victoria Falls, one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World. You will be able to participate in some amazing adventures and activities during your stay, ranging from cruises along the Zambezi River, bicycle rides to the nearby Nakatindi village, cultural tours, bush dinners under the stars, or rare sightings of the white rhino during adventures to the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park. Don’t forget to listen to the calls, barks, rumbles and rustles of the African bush at nighttime.

Sanctuary Baines’ Camp
Located in the Okavango Delta in Botswana this camp takes its name from the famous artist Thomas Baines. The camp is situated in the Boro River and is surrounded by calm and peaceful views. The camp offers five elegant suites, which are perched on elevated platforms above the river in order for guests to experience the most breathtaking and sweeping views of the rivers and lagoons before them. Feeling adventurous? Why not go on a mokoro excursion (traditional dugout canoe) and explore the many winding waterways, or even choose a motor boat excursion instead. Participating in some amazing game drives in an open 4×4 safari vehicle and walking safaris are fantastic opportunities to spot wildlife.
Sanctuary Chief’s Camp
Set in the spectacular Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana Chief’s Camp is renowned for its flawless wildlife and magical views. This safari camp is popular with guests for its outstanding services and sophisticated accommodation which are private and comfortable. The suites offer a private kitchen, indoor lounge, private boma with fire pit, secluded deck areas, a private chef, private vehicle with its own guide, a personal waiter and a private housekeeper. Your adventure includes early morning and afternoon game drives, which are conducted in open vehicles, where you will have an excellent chance of viewing elephants, hippos, buffalos, lions, leopards and wild dogs. Tamer adventures include birdwatching, seasonal mokoro (traditional dugout canoe) excursions and, for the romantic at heart, private bush dinners under starlit skies.
Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero Lodge
Set in the Kasane Forest Reserve, the camp is recognised for hosting some amazing adventures and activities along with spectacular suites to stay in. Come along and discover the wildlife residents in some thrilling game drives in open 4×4 safari vehicles, safari and sundowner cruises on the river, and day trips to Victoria Falls. You can also take the time to relax in the camp’s spa or split-level swimming pool, or maybe even wind down with one of the library’s books in the cosy sitting room.
Sanctuary Sussi and Chuma
Situated on a lodge overlooking the broad Zambezi River, just upstream from the famous Victoria Falls. During your stay you will be accommodated in a tree house that has been constructed around giant ebony trees, each offering ensuite bathrooms, mosquito nets, overhead fans, personal bars and a private viewing deck overlooking the Zambezi River. You will also have access to a private chef, house staff and private vehicle for activities for the duration of your stay. Explore the resident wildlife, such as hippos and elephants, who are likely to wander through the lush grounds at any time. You can also experience guided tours of Victoria Falls and the rainforest on the Zambian side, game drives in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, where Zambia’s only white rhino can be spotted, a cultural tour of Livingstone, including a visit to the museum and Maramba Village, as well as early morning or sunset river cruises. Fishing and canoeing are also available.
Once you arrive at Maun International Airport, make your way down to arrivals where you will be greeted by an andBeyond representative, who will accommodate you onto your scheduled charter flight. You and your fellow guests will then be flown to Stanley airstrip. Your first flight over the pristine water wilderness will leave a lasting impression. Make sure you keep a look out for the hippos in the waters and the elephants lounging in the shade of the trees (an approximately 15-minute flight).
You will have 2 nights at Sanctuary Baines to explore and your stay includes the following: a suite with an ensuite bathroom, all meals, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages (with the exception of premium brands and champagne), laundry services, and park fees.
Included activities: game drives, walking safaris and mokoro and boat excursions (seasonal).
You will have the chance to experience a short game drive on your journey to Stanley’s airstip where you have a scheduled light aircraft waiting to fly you and your fellow companions to Chief’s airstip (an approximately 15 minute flight).
Chief’s Island is home to the former royal hunting ground of Chief Moremi, who invites you to come and explore the myriad of wildlife and wilderness that surrounds the area. During your 2 night stay at Sanctuary Chief’s Camp, you will be residing in a Luxury Pavillion with an ensuite bathroom. Your stay includes all meals, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages (with exception of premium brands and champagne), all game viewing activities, laundry, and park fees.
Included activities: game drives and mokoro excursions (seasonal).
Recommended activities (at an additional cost): scenic helicopter flight over the Delta.
Once you have finished indulging at breakfast you will be collected from Sanctuary Chief’s Camp, and taken on a short game drive back to Chief’s airstrip in time for your scheduled charter flight awaiting to fly you and your companions to your next adventure at Kasane Airport. Make sure that during your flight you take the time to soak in the views of the sparkling lagoons and palm tree islands as you fly over this water wonderland for one last time (an approximately 80-minute flight).
Make the most of your experience during your 2-night stay at Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero. You will be accommodated in a Pool Suite with an ensuite bathroom, which includes all meals, non-alcoholic & alcoholic beverages (with exception of premium brands and champagne), all game viewing activities, laundry service, and park fees.
Included activities: sundowner cruises and game drives.
Recommended activities (at an additional cost): photographic safari cruises and fishing excursions (seasonal).
You will be collected from Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero and be driven with fellow guests to Sanctuary Sussi & Chuma in Livingstone, Zambia where you will be asked to clear immigration and customs en route.
Explore the sights during your 2 night stay at Sanctuary Sussi & Chuma where you will be residing in a treehouse with an ensuite bathroom, which includes all meals, non-alcoholic, alcoholic beverages (with exception of premium brands and champagne).
Included activities: game drives, sundowner cruises on the Zambezi, canoeing on the Zambezi, Tour of Victoria Falls and local school & village tours.
After a filling breakfast, you will be collected from Sanctuary Sussi & Chuma and driven, with your fellow companions, to Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport for your onward travel arrangements.
