The resort ensures its food supply is sustainable by not only purchasing produce locally but by also growing food on-site in their very own herb and vegetable garden. This eliminates the need to transport as much food, lowering their overall carbon footprint and eliminates the need for plastic packaging as food is picked fresh as and when it is needed. Leftover food from the kitchen is then used as natural fertiliser in the gardens so that no food is going to waste.
