Raffles is currently focusing on improvements in divisions such as waste management, energy and water conservation, as well as community outreach through local groups and partnerships. Since teaming with the Planet 21 programme of AccorHotels, environmental benefits are being realised through reduced utilities consumption and improved practices. The programmes main emphasis is on sustainability, encompassing everything from recycling and organic waste diversion in the hotel’s kitchens to retrofitting energy efficient lighting.

The Sugar Palm Kids Club, which is complimentary for children aged 4-11 years (younger children can use the facilities with a parent or babysitter), offers a varied program to keep the children entertained.
