You will arrive via OR Tambo International Airport and be met by an andBeyond representative who will assist you onto a scheduled flight to Phinda Private Game Reserve. Upon arrival, you will be met by an andBeyond representative and transferred to your accommodation.

Begin your mornings embarking on a game drive across the reserve. Conducted in an open-top safari vehicle, encounter many amazing sightings of wildlife such as Cheetahs, Elephants, Lions, Rhinos and many more. For a more authentic taste of African life, choose a cultural trip to the local village. Led by an andBeyond representative who are members of the local community, the trip will allow you to interact with the local people and experience the way they live.
For an adventurous activity at an additional cost, why not slip on a sturdy pair of shoes, grab your binoculars and camera, and spend the morning on foot with a trained ranger and tracker team searching for the rare and highly endangered rhinoceros.

After breakfast you will be transferred to Phinda Airstrip for your scheduled flight to OR Tambo International Airport.

Phinda offers great wildlife viewing throughout the year, however the best months to visit are during the winter season (May to September). During this season the animals are much easier to spot, while they convene at water sources to keep refreshed. During the dry season the lack of rain leads to the thinning of the bushveld, however wildlife spotting is still excellent. During the months of November to January, you can also choose to enjoy a turtle nesting adventure on the beaches after dark.
