Sri Lanka has a rich culture and history as well as exploring the sites that Sri Lanka has to offer including Jeep Safari at Wilpattu national park, a walking tour of Kandy, Trekking Knuckles, visiting a tea plantation and tea experience, visiting Ramboda falls, Horton plains trek, a train ride from Nanu Oya to Ella, Jeep safari at Yala national park, Jeep safari at Udawalawe national park, Safari at Bundala national park, Whale watching in Mirissa, Trekking Sinharaja, Battles & Bastions tour of Galle and Street food tour of Colombo. You will gain a lifetime experience for future generations to come.
Arrive in Sri Lanka and be welcomed by your chauffeur at the airport. Proceed to Kalpitiya with an approximately 4-hour journey. Afterwards check-in at the hotel to spend the day at leisure.
Day 2 will include travel to Wilpattu and back. Enjoy breakfast at the resort and proceed to Wilpattu National Park to take part in a jeep safari. Return to the resort and spend the day at leisure. During this time of leisure, you could visit Alankuda beach and soak up the Sri Lankan sun or visit Kalpitiya fort. Please note that all leisure activity prices are at the expense of the customer.
Start the third day of the tour by enjoying breakfast at the resort and then proceeding to Kandy with a 4 hour and a half journey (approximately) and take part in a walking tour of the city. Check-in at the hotel and spend the day at leisure.
Day 4 includes enjoying breakfast at the resort and proceeding to the Knuckles mountain range 2 hours away (Approximately) for a mountain trek. Return to the resort and spend the day at leisure. During your time of leisure in Kandy, you can visit the Kandy lake created in 1807 by Sri Wlakrama Rajasinha, visit the Sri Dalada Museum home to gifts from several presidents and Buddhist leaders. Or visit St Paul’s church, a British church that started in 1843.
Enjoy breakfast at the resort and proceed to Nuwara Eliya approximately 3 hours away and visit the Ramboda falls en route. Visit a tea plantation and take part in a tea experience. Afterwards, check-in at the resort and spend the day at leisure. The leisure activities could include visiting lover’s leap, a waterfall that is bound to leave you speechless, Galway’s land national park which is the smallest and newest national parks in Sri Lanka and many more different activities.
On day 7 enjoy breakfast at the resort and take the train to Ella. Afterwards, continue the journey to Yala with a journey of approximately 3.5 hours and check-in at the resort to spend the day at leisure.
On day 8 enjoy breakfast at the resort and take part in an afternoon jeep safari at Yala National Park. Return to the resort and spend the day at leisure. During this time of leisure in Yala, you can explore Yala the way you want to and explore the depths of the city.
Enjoy breakfast at the resort and travel 2 hours away to Hambantota to check-in at the resort and spend some time at leisure. Take part in a jeep safari at Udawalawe national park in the evening.
Day 10 starts with you enjoying breakfast at the resort and proceeding to visit the Bundala national park 20 mins away (approximately). Return to the resort and spend the day at leisure, where you can explore all that Hambantota has to offer.
Enjoy breakfast at the resort and proceed to Mirissa approximately 2.5 hours away. Check-in at the resort and spend the day at leisure.
Day 12 starts with you enjoying breakfast at the resort and proceeding to take part in a whale watching tour. Return to the hotel and spend the evening at leisure. While in the leisure period you can go to Mirissa beach and soak up the sun and spend some time relaxing.
Enjoy breakfast at the resort and proceed to Sinharaja (Approx. 3.5 Hrs). Check-in at the hotel and spend the day at leisure.
Day 14 enjoy breakfast at the resort and visit the Sinharaja rainforest for a trek through the famous rainforest. Return to the resort and spend the day at leisure. Where you can use this time to relax at the hotel or explore Sinharaja your way.
Enjoy breakfast at the resort and take the approximately 3 and half hour journey to Galle. Check-in at the hotel and spend the day at leisure.
Day 16 is all about spending the day at leisure and taking part in the “Battles & Bastions” tour of Galle during the day. On day 15 and 16 when you have spare time, you can visit flag rock which is a defensive fort used in the Portuguese era, the Dutch reformed church which was built in 1640 but reformed in 1752. Or visit the Meeran Mosque there is no general admission, however, if you are dressed appropriately then you may be invited inside if not you will be able to enjoy the external view.
Start day 17 off by enjoying breakfast at the resort and proceeding to the capital city of Colombo which is approximately 2 hours away and take part in a street food tour of Colombo. Afterwards, check-in at the resort and spend the day at leisure. Colombo has a lot to offer and during the leisure time, there is plenty you can do on your last full day in Sri Lanka including visiting Geoffrey Bawa house where the architect lived from 1960 to 1970 or Wolvendaal Church, a Dutch 17th-century landmark.
Proceed to the airport for departure.
