Colombo’s Bandaranaike International Airport is two and a half hours away by car, whilst Ratmalana International Airport is just two hours away. Breeze Spa’s signature treatment is the Galle Ceylon Retreat Package, a locally inspired therapeutic ritual infused with the country’s iconic spices and herbs. Concocted specially for Amari Galle, this two-and-a-half-hour treatment begins with a full body tea leaf scrub infused with aromatic cinnamon and vanilla. The exfoliating tea extract helps rejuvenate the skin and keep it soft and healthy. The experience continues with a relaxing massage that combines Thai and Ayurvedic techniques, followed by a refreshing facial to keep the face glowing.

The hotel stresses the vital importance of a safe, equal and diverse working environment. As well as this, the services and amenities the Amari Galle offers are made sure to align with the values of environmental wellbeing and community support.
All Amari hotels, including Galle, are partnered with the Pimali Hospitality Training Centre which aims to help in the fight against exploitation of disadvantaged young people, as well as alleviate poverty. Through the centre, young people from lower-income and disadvantaged backgrounds are offered practical hospitality training in order for them to better find employment and aid social mobility. Amari Galle provides internships and hires people from the training centre to help improve the economic status of young people in the community.
The Amari hotels have supported Fin Free since 2013, an organisation focused on the conservation of shark populations in Thai waters, and fighting for the end of shark fin harvesting.
Kids are very welcome! While parents relax on the beach or up on the roof-top bar, the hotel has many different children’s activities everyday at the Amari Kids Club (high season). The professional childminders plan many different activities, from getting lost in books, toys, to roleplaying and acting fun. This means parents and kids can both enjoy Amari Galle just the way they want!
