Chobe Water Villas, Kasika, Namibia

Chobe Water Villas located in Namibia at the Eastern tip of the famous Caprivi Strip, now known as the Zambezi Region. The Zambezi Region has a hot climate. Rain usually falls in the form of heavy thunderstorms. The wet season coincides with the summer months of November to April. During the dry winter months, from May to October, there is virtually no rain at all, resulting in much cooler mornings.

Chobe Water Villas arranges transfers from 4 airports, these transfers will drive guests to Kasane and from there by private Lodge Safari Boat to Chobe Water Villas across the Chobe River into Namibia (15 minutes). This service offers the opportunity to view wildlife along the route especially elephant, buffalo, hippo and crocodile.

The Villas

Looking over the water’s edge, each exquisite villa features 180-degree views of the mesmerising wetland and bushland sanctuary – comprising the Chobe River, Botswana’s Sedudu Island and Chobe National Park on the opposite riverbank. Guests can enjoy unsurpassed views of elephant and buffalo herds grazing on Sedudu’s floodplains all from the comfort of their loungers, beautifully positioned on their private and charming villa terrace.

The open plan luxury suites feature sitting and bedroom areas, as well as a superbly appointed en-suite bathroom with double vanity, separate bath, shower and toilet. The elegance of the suites not only mirror the natural splendour of the region, but also offers unsurpassed luxury and relaxation. Guests can expect comfort at its most stylish.

Dining and Chobe Waters

Meals are served either in the exquisitely elegant restaurant area or at the poolside, where you will be able to marvel at the wildlife and vistas while enjoying delicious fare.

Breakfast presents a cold buffet selection as well as hot dishes served from the kitchen. Alfresco lunches feature an amalgamation of light, healthy and delighting African and Mediterranean dishes. Dinners are five-course, plated and elegant candle-lit affairs. Additionally, high tea showcases a selection of teas and coffees with cakes, scones, pastries and savoury snacks and sandwiches – high tea is served each afternoon.

Morning Game Drive Chobe National Park (Botswana)

Experience Africa as Mother Nature yawns, awakes and shakes her feathers, tails and scales. As the glorious sun rises encounter herds of elephants – the gentle giants of this land – make their way to the Chobe River for the first drink of the day. Join professional guides for a safari of a lifetime in comfortable open-air vehicles. You’ll be driven through the lush Chobe National Park, coming across a myriad of shy and elusive animals that inhabit the Chobe National Park. The game drive is around a four to five-hour drive, departing at 08:00. The trip includes park fees, tea, coffee, rusks, soft drinks and bottled water.

Chobe River Lunch Cruise (Botswana)

Float serenely down the Chobe River in near silence, with the only sounds being the water lapping against the hull of the boat and the surrounding noises of Africa. Follow the twists and turns of the Chobe River as it meanders through the wildlife-rich Chobe National Park. Enjoy a delicious light lunch whilst keeping an eye out for elephants as they splash about in mud pools. Spot crocodiles sleeping lazily on the riverbanks and the flicking ears of hippos congregating under the water. The cruise is a two to three -hour boat experience, departing approximately at 12:30. The trip includes park fees, lunch, beverages and bottled water.

Namibian Village Tour to Kasenu Village at Kabulabula in the Caprivi – this tour entails a boat cruise along the Chobe River following the Namibian shoreline to Kasenu village. The village itself is built around an ancient Baobab tree.

Impalila Island Cultural Village Tour – this tour entails a boat cruise in the opposite direction towards the Zambezi River to Impalila Island. The island offers a colourful and interesting history at a fascinating location where 4 countries meet – Zambia, Zimbabwe, Namibia and Botswana.

Victoria Falls – Experience a full day tour by road to Victoria Falls. Included in this experience are all transfers, a breath-taking tour of Victoria Falls, lunch at the Falls Restaurant plus a visit to the vibrant Craft Market.

Fishing Charter – The specialised and tailored 3-hour fishing charters involve custom designed fishing boats in which are guided by river/fishing professionals. These fishing charters include soft drinks, bottled water and fishing tackle.

Pangolin River Safaris – The tailored 3-hour Photographic River Safaris boast custom designed photographic boats guided by internationally renowned photographers. These river safaris provide loan cameras, free 4GB card, park fees, soft drinks and bottled water.
