Kichuguu sits in the heart of the Tarangire National Park, home to an ancient migration corridor still used by herds of elephant, zebra, buffalo and more. The area surrounding the camp is full of safari wildlife, guaranteeing top quality game viewings. The area is known for its large elephant herds and great numbers of bird species. The Park is a 2 hour drive from Arusha. Guests can also fly to the Kuro airstrip, which is 30 minutes away from the camp.

Kichuguu has 11 boutique-style tents, which can be configured as either twins or doubles, and all have en suite bathrooms with a flush toilet and traditional safari bucket shower. These comfy tents also come with bedside tables and lights, a writing desk, chest of drawers and their own private veranda. One of the tents has been tailored to families, featuring 2 bedrooms and a shared lounge area.
All meals are provided by the camp’s highly trained chefs, who will serve a variety of top quality Swahili dishes.

The camp implements a number of green, eco-friendly policies. These include using solar energy, recycling waste materials, offsetting CO2 emissions by planting indigenous trees, and sourcing furniture and produce locally.
