Cabins

Margay Lodge features four spacious cabins, each built with an eco-conscious design. The rooms use a passive cooling system, with cross-ventilation to negate the need for inefficient air conditioning systems. The cabins are built on stilts to minimise their impact on the landscape, and the surrounding vegetation also helps to absorb heat and provide fresh air. The natural colours and design of the cabins allow them to blend seamlessly into the natural landscape.

Three of the four cabins feature two rooms; a master room with a comfortable double bed and single bed, and a second bedroom with two single beds. This is ideal for families or small groups travelling together, and each cabin can accommodate up to 5 adults. There is also a fourth cabin that can cater for up to three guests. Guests can spend their evenings sitting out on the private verandah, either laying back in a comfortable hammock or watching the surrounding flora and fauna.

Guests at Margay Nature Reserve and Jungle Lodge can look forward to three delicious meals each day, combining regional cuisine with traditional Argentine recipes. Start your morning with a selection of tropical fruits, homemade breads, regional sweets, and natural fruit juice.

Lunch and dinners are crafted using fresh ingredients from neighbouring farms and the lodge’s own orchard. All produce is organic and high in quality and reflects Margay Lodge’s dedication to supporting local producers. Enjoy traditional meals with unique twists, with vegan, vegetarian and TACC-free options available.
