Puerto Valle

Puerto Valle is located in the Mesopotamia region of Argentina. Overlooking the Parana River, this is a wonderful location to relax and soak in the incredible culture of this region. Puerto Valle offers guests an exclusive gateway to the wildlife of Ibera National Park, one of the largest wetlands in the world, in the most extensive natural reserve of Argentina.

Guests can reach Puerto Valle by taking a road transfer from Buenos Aires to the nearby city of Mercedes, or by flying to one of the closest main airports: Posadas, Corrientes or Resistencia; all of which are within four or five hours of driving distance.

Casco Family Room

The Casco Family Room spans two storeys and is ideal for small groups or families. The ground floor features a large master bedroom, bathroom and small living room, and the top floor consists of a large living room which can accommodate two beds or a cradle. The room has a light and airy atmosphere with terrific views over the Parana River. Lie back on a plush double bed, fitted with Egyptian cotton sheets and soft pillows and enjoy a serene stay in the heart of nature. The modern bathroom is spacious and features L’Occitane amenities.

Casco Room

The four Casco rooms are located within the old house and are decorated in a stylish way featuring a small lounge and king-size bed within the bedroom. Additionally, the room features views of the Parana River, Egyptian cotton sheets, a pillow menu and L’Occitane amenities and services that ensure a peaceful stay. Facilities available onsite include a comfortable library with a fireplace and a drawing-room, providing the ideal setting for guests to spend the afternoon indoors during winter.

Deluxe Room

The Deluxe private terrace rooms offer stunning views of the Parana River. The rooms feature king-size beds fitted with Egyptian cotton sheets, reading desks and personal control air conditioning system and heating controls. Each room also features an outdoor shower and dressing room. Facilities available onsite feature a library with a fireplace and a drawing-room, providing the ideal setting for guests to spend the afternoon indoors during winter.

Laguna Valle Expedition

Venture across the fields, plantations and marshes in specially-designed 4×4 vehicles and view the vast and beautiful natural landscapes. Once you arrive at the pier, a motorboat will be waiting for you, to take you on a journey along the stunning waterways of Laguna Valle. Look out for wildlife as caiman, marsh deer, capybara and countless bird species gather at the water’s edge for a drink.

National Park Photo Safari

Take a hike across the northern Ibera and enter the national park, where a wealth of wildlife roams the pastures, marshes and rainforest. Snap amazing photographs of the red macaw, foxes and armadillos with the stunning backdrops of the tranquil waterways and verdant landscape.

Parana River Boat Ride

Set off from the hotel’s private pier and explore the vast waterways of the Parana River that stretch into the Paranaense Forest, past fifty species of trees filled with swinging monkeys and nesting birds. Enjoy the tranquil natural surroundings on this gentle boat trip with incredible photography opportunities.

Horseback Riding

Choose a friendly and well-trained companion from the estancia stables and race across the floodplains, past the eucalyptus plantations and alongside the Parana River. Experience freedom as you feel the wind in your hair and your horse dashing across the landscape, allowing you to take in the glorious sights of the diverse ecosystems of Ibera.

Kayak Exploration

Escape to the hidden paradise of the Paranaense Forest from the comfort of a kayak. Paddle along the pleasant waterways and enjoy the cooling shelter provided by a canopy of green leaves. Guests will be able to find an array of beautiful plants and flowers, and watch deer and birds as they approach the water.

Park, Tree Nursery and Organic Garden

Explore the estancia park with a guided tour across the 14 hectares of luscious greenery. Visit the tree nursery, where eucalyptus, grevillea, Kiri and yerba mate seedlings are all shooting up to add to the native plantlife that already fills the grounds. Guests can also wander through the organic garden and see the herbs and vegetables that will later be served on their dinner plates. Enjoy a peaceful afternoon in soothing surroundings.
