Victoria Falls

Victoria Falls is one of the greatest attractions in Africa and one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world. Victoria Falls is located on the Zambezi River, the fourth largest river in Africa, which is also defining the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. The Falls provides an abundance of thrill-seeking activities and opportunities for visitors.

Discover one of the most interesting attractions in Victoria Falls, Devil’s Pool is a natural pool mostly unknown to tourists. The pool has the width of about ten meters and is located next to the cliff found near Livingstone Island. The pool is separated from the abyss only by a narrow bridge, those brave enough can bathe in the pool, looking over the edge of the abyss whilst taking in the astonishing panoramas of this spectacle.

Victoria is not the highest waterfall in the world, however Bungee jumping from the Victoria Falls Bridge is quite a popular sport. Victoria Falls offers visitors the chance to river surf, kayak, challenge and enjoy heart stopping gorge swings as well as other fascinating wild activities.

Explorers less fond of the daring activities can delight in river cruises, elephant rides, admire rich local arts and crafts, test their skill and patience with fishing, or play golf and other games. Victoria Falls also hosts a museum, devoted to the waterfalls’ history. Here you can find out about the changes faced by the waterfall during the last several thousand years. A day trip, tour or excursion to Victoria Falls is an absolute must for travellers visiting this unrivalled area of Southern Africa, not to mention a once in a lifetime encounter.
