Each of the eight standard rooms at the property is decorated with a sea theme, comprising of beach pebbles and soft colours for a serene atmosphere. Facilities include an En-suite bathroom, a coffee station in each room and 3point, Euro and USB-plugs. A minibar and television is also provided as is complimentary Wi-Fi.

Far more spacious than the standard rooms, there are eight luxury rooms at the property that allow for more comfort and are also able to be converted into family rooms, sleeping 2 adults and 2 children under the age of 12 years old. Each room has an En-suite as well as a coffee station, television and a mini bar. Complimentary Wi-Fi is also included.

The suite at the property is the most luxurious at the property, complete with two bedrooms, a small kitchenette and a living space to relax in. A bathroom is also included as is a separate toilet. Other amenities include a coffee station, mini bar and a television for evenings spent unwinding after a day of adventure. There is just one of these suites available at the property.

The property itself provides guests with bed and breakfast, offering a breakfast buffet to indulge in every morning at the guest house. Guests can discover locally grown products that are prepared within the area such as gin, beer and coffee and guests are also welcome to visit the olive green, trying local snacks whilst doing so. Conveniently located restaurants include Old Steamer Restaurant, Village Café, and Gabriele’s Italian Pizzeria as the property is located next to Swakopmund town centre.

The Namib Desert is the oldest desert in the world and is known to house some of the largest dunes on the planet. Conducted between the hours of 9:30am and 1:30 pm, sand boarding is a high energy activity perfect for the adventurer staying at Swakopmund Guest House.

With trained instructors to help guests who take part, skydiving is a high adrenaline activity that allows guests to free fall at 200km/ hour. Getting to fly over the oldest desert in the world is something that will never be forgotten.

Exploring the desert by horseback gives guests the chance to unwind in nature, observing the stunning views whilst taking part in this activity. Riding along the bush and along the riverbed or the beach and sand dunes is all available between 11am and 4:45pm.

Four wheeled motorbikes are available to guests who wish to experience the thrill of riding though the Namib Desert. Drive through the dunes along a planned route to explore this stunning expanse.

Guests can expect a good catch all year round when fishing at Swakopund. Both boat or at-shore options are available and a wide variety of fish species can be caught. This includes Barbel, Steenbras, Kabeljou, Garrick and sharks. Available between 8:15am until 1pm, an experienced skipper and guide will join you as you fish.

Guests can enjoy an afternoon in the desert, beginning at the camel farm 5km outside of Swakopmund.

An educational outing is perfect spent at the aquarium. It features a large transparent tank with its own glass walk through tunnel to truly admire the creatures here.

This cruise will take guests to experience the magnificent creatures in all their glory. The dolphins can be seen leaping alongside the boat while seals can be fed by hand. Guests will also be able to indulge in a champagne breakfast with fresh oysters on the calm waters of Walvis Bay Lagoon.

This unique experience is an adventure to all who participate. The desert will come to life and guests can experience the desert dunes, desert-adapted animals and views that stretch for as far as the eye can see. Guests will tour the terrain in a 4X4 and be guided by those who know the area.

Guests can discover locally grown and sustainable products prepared within the area. This includes craft beer, local coffee and gin. Between the hours of 2 and 8pm guests can visit the olive grove, unwinding and trying the local snacks whilst doing so.
