Exploring the desert by horseback gives guests the chance to unwind in nature, observing the stunning views whilst taking part in this activity. Riding along the bush and along the riverbed or the beach and sand dunes is all available between 11am and 4:45pm.
Four wheeled motorbikes are available to guests who wish to experience the thrill of riding though the Namib Desert. Drive through the dunes along a planned route to explore this stunning expanse.
Guests can expect a good catch all year round when fishing at Swakopund. Both boat or at-shore options are available and a wide variety of fish species can be caught. This includes Barbel, Steenbras, Kabeljou, Garrick and sharks. Available between 8:15am until 1pm, an experienced skipper and guide will join you as you fish.
Guests can enjoy an afternoon in the desert, beginning at the camel farm 5km outside of Swakopmund.
An educational outing is perfect spent at the aquarium. It features a large transparent tank with its own glass walk through tunnel to truly admire the creatures here.
This cruise will take guests to experience the magnificent creatures in all their glory. The dolphins can be seen leaping alongside the boat while seals can be fed by hand. Guests will also be able to indulge in a champagne breakfast with fresh oysters on the calm waters of Walvis Bay Lagoon.
