Mapula Lodge

Located just outside of Moremi Game Reserve, Mapula Lodge lies deep in the Okavango Delta. Boasting 9 luxury chalets which are inviting and unique, filled with locally handcrafted safari-chic furnishings, the atmosphere is ethereal and earthy. The main area’s commodious viewing deck includes soft, inviting sofas overlooking the hippo-filled lagoon. The majestic riverine flora around the lodge is home to a great variety of birds; game viewing, in open vehicles, is excellent in this area. The guides at Mapula Lodge have been trained by legendary Ralph Bousfield, who was inspired and trained by his father Jack, who loved adventure. Always passionate about conservation, Ralph and his mother established Botswana’s first Wildlife Orphanage and Education Centre.

Camp Maru

Okavango Hidden Gems Camp Maru, in addition to the closely situated sister camp Amber River Camp is situated within the NG32 Concession towards the very southeasterly end of the Okavango Delta, bordering the Moremi Game Reserve. The camp is accessed via transfer from Maun, followed by a game drive to the final location. Camp Maru looks out amongst a winding lagoon, with comfortable and airy 4-star pitched canvas accommodation that oversees spectacular vistas over the surround bush. Accommodation comes complete with en-suite facilities and a range of modern amenities.

Little Tubu

Little Tubu shares Hunda Island with its larger sister camp, benefitting from the dry-land location surrounded by seasonally inundated floodplains. Little Tubu offers an intimate safari experience, combining the luxury of privacy and seclusion with access to some of the most bountiful game viewing in all of Botswana. The three luxury guest tents that make up Little Tubu peer out from under the shade of a grove of riverine trees. Sightings of wildlife from the camp inspire excursions to productive woodlands in open 4×4 vehicles, with seasonal water-based activities also an option, offering a host of land, sea and air-based safari excursions. With all-inclusive rates, you’re free to enjoy the lavish selection of freshly prepared, sumptuous meals and lite bites throughout the day, including bottomless beverages.
 

Kiri Camp

Kiri Camp owes its name to the Kiri channel which flows passed the island on which the camp is situated – between the Boro River and the Kiri River, about 20km’s south-west of Chiefs Island. The camp is raised on wooden decks, providing astonishing vistas over the expansive Kiri floodplains which stretch out north of the camp. Kiri Camps luxury tented units benefit from their location beneath the surrounding ebony forest, facilitating cool and airy accommodation shaded from the extremes of midday heat. Both standard and family size en-suite tents accommodate a maximum of 24 total guests, ensuring an intimate stay for all. Kiri Camp benefits from its unique location within the NG32 Concession, not only for the bountiful game viewing and water-bound activities inherent to its location, but for the additional activities permitted to the private concession such as spotlight lit evening game drives.

Gomoti Private Camp

Gomoti Private Camp is situated within a community run concession within the NG32 area on the edge of the Gomoti river system south-east of the Okavango Delta. Unlike its sister camp Gomoti Plains Camp, Gomoti Private is available for exclusive bookings only. The area is known for its large concentrations of wildlife which thrive on the Gomoti plains and waterways, considered to be among the most bountiful and consistent areas for wildlife sighting in Northern Botswana. Gomoti trees line the waterways and provide excellent cover for nesting water birds such as herons and storks.

Jao Camp

Camp Jao offers a truly unique and well rounded safari experience, utilising the surrounding Okavango landscape to its maximum potential with a host of exciting activities. Accommodation is built from locally sourced and recyclable materials, luxurious by even the highest standards, with an array of modern furnishings and lavish features such as a private plunge pool and air-conditioning. All inclusive food and beverages will keep you lavishly sustained while embarking on a host of land, sea and air based game viewing activities, while in-camp facilities such as a bar, pool, spa, gym and library will keep you thoroughly occupied in-between. Complimentary internet access is available in-camp, and families with children age 13 and older are warmly welcome.

Chitabe Lediba

Chitabe Lediba shares the same island as its closely situated parent camp Chitabe Camp, all be it with a smaller, more intimate presence, making it the ideal destination for small groups and families. Lediba – once a lagoon, is now a watering hole frequented by scores of exotic game and wildlife, providing an optimum location for casual game viewing. Beyond the camp, Okavango and Kalahari landscapes merge to form rich and varied habitats. Five guest tents comprise the total accommodation at Chitabe Camp, two of which are family tents, all decorated and furnished in a classical yet intricate safari style.

Gomoti Plains Camp

Gomoti Plains Camp is situated within a community run concession within the NG32 area on the edge of the Gomoti river system southeast of the Okavango Delta. The Gomoti tree is locally known as the water fig and grows alongside waterways in the Okavango delta. It’s a smallish tree which sometimes grows no bigger than a bush. The area is known for its large concentrations of wildlife which thrive on the Gomoti plains and waterways, considered to be among the most bountiful and consistent areas for wildlife sighting in all Northern Botswana. Gomoti trees line the waterways and provide excellent cover for nesting water birds such as herons and storks. The camp has 10 luxury tents which include 2 luxury family tents and 8 luxury double tents, all with en-suite bathrooms and shower facilities.

Tongole Wilderness Lodge

Nestled in the unspoilt beauty of Nkhotakota Wildlife Reserve is Tongole Wilderness Retreat, a luxury lodge on the bank of the Bua River. Within the serenity of the open-air private suites you can slumber in the wild and reconnect to nature at its finest. Mkulumadzi Lodge
