Three Tree Hill Lodge

Three Tree Hill Lodge rests within the Spioenkop Game Reserve, overlooking the verdant Mfazimnyama Valley and against the backdrop of the magnificent Drakensburg Mountains. The family-run lodge is an ideal location for exploring the incredible nearby sights such as the Anglo-Boer War Battlefields in KwaZulu Natal, the Northern Drakensberg Mountains, and the Anglo-Zulu War Battlefields. Three Tree Hill is a Fair Trade certified lodge which prioritises sustainable and responsible tourism, while providing a luxury experience for guests in an area of exquisite natural beauty.
 
The 9 cottages, including 3 family units, are set among the abundant plant life and feature a natural colour scheme to allow them to blend into the beautiful natural landscape. The lodge’s owners, Simon & Cheryl Blackburn, are friendly and both have a strong passion and keen interest in Africa’s wildlife, history and culture, and are happy to share their local knowledge with all guests.

Elewana Sand River Masai Mara

Elewana Sand River Masai Mara lies upon the banks of the river of which it takes its name. Elewana Loisaba Star Beds

The Loisaba Star Beds are a refreshing take on the safari accommodation experience. With custom made four-poster beds, which are wheeled out onto decks on stilts, these beds command a spectacular view over the plains outstretched below, and down to the waterhole, which is frequented by many of the marvellous game animals that guests will encounter whilst out on game drives. The craggy hillside provides an exciting backdrop from which guests at the Star Beds can enjoy superb views of the Loisaba Conservancy. The Elewana Loisaba Star Beds have 3 en suite double platform rooms, and one en suite family platform room with two double beds. Each have a naturalist design which melds with the surrounding rocky environment. The bathrooms are designed using the existing natural rock features, and are open plan for that ultimate shower-with-a-view.
