The Ravenala Attitude

The Ravenala Attitude is a 4-star, all-suite hotel, tucked away in an exotic garden between the Indian Ocean and the Citron River on the north-west coast of Mauritius. The hotel’s design combines a mix of colonial heritage and contemporary elements to form a hybrid design completed with tropical accents and genuine Mauritian art de vivre. The décor of the suites serve as true reminders of the islands’ way of life: strokes of blue-grey, toile de Jouy fabric and woven rattan bedhead allow an authentic feel to embrace the suites and the guests within them. The Ravenala, also known as the “Traveller’s Tree”, gave the hotel its name. According to legend, its long fan-shaped leaves retaining rainwater at their base, in the shape of a cup, have given many intrepid travellers a drink.
