Toka Leya Camp

Toka Leya Camp sits on the banks of the Zambezi River, nestled in the heart of the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. The camp has a calming and luxurious atmosphere, with 12 canvas tents on raised platforms, looking out over the wide rolling grasslands. Guests will hear nothing but the sounds of birds calling and insects chirping whilst they relax and eat dinner or enjoy a drink on their decking, under the wide unpolluted Zambian sky. All the tents are comfortable and authentic, with wooden features and cosy four poster beds. Ensuite bathrooms and private verandahs come with all the rooms, and they are filled with natural light through wide windows. The camp is in a prime location, with Victoria Falls not far away, guests can spend time exploring the magnificent wonder of the world, or can spend time closer to home, exploring the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. For guests who wish to have a more relaxing experience then the camp can offer spa treatments, followed by a dip in the sparkling swimming pool.

San Camp

Scattered across the shore of the Nwetwe Pan, rests San Camp; a collection of 7 classic safari tents dotted amongst the palm trees. The tents are all spaced far away from one another, giving guests a private experience where they can immerse themselves in the unique desert landscape. Get away from the stresses of civilisation and explore the desolate Nwetwe Pan, where white salt-crusted earth stretches on for miles and miles, with just the camp’s habituated meerkat neighbours for company. San Camp is only open during Botswana’s dry season (April 1st – October 15th), when the landscape is most striking.

Okonjima Plains Camp

Set within the secluded wilderness of Okonjima Nature Reserve in Namibia, the family friendly Okonjima Plains Camp is the perfect place to unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With just 30 rooms in total, the camp is an incredibly private place to visit and is also wheelchair accessible with ramps leading up to the rooms. Double beds and a double shower fill the rooms, as do amenities such as a mini fridge, tea/coffee facilities and fans to maximise guests comfort during their stay. You can also enjoy access to an entertainment venue and communal area that includes a dining area, bar, swimming pool and picturesque views over a waterhole and the Okonjima plains. This makes your time here all the more comfortable and social should you wish it to be. Originally a cattle farm since the early 1920’s, Okonjima’s attention is now focused on recovering the grass plains and turning it into a nature reserve, with a particular focus on carnivore conservation. With the close help and collaboration of the AfriCat Foundation, it has quickly become a sanctuary for Namibian wildlife such as cheetahs, leopards and brown hyenas. Guests will be able to witness these creatures up close and personal when staying at the camp, taking game drives and guided bush walks with experts. Visible from both the main property and the individual rooms, animals roam freely across the reserve, leaving those who visit feeling truly immersed within the natural surroundings during their stay.

Hacienda Uxmal Plantation and Museum
