Lalibela Kichaka Lodge

Lalibela Kichaka Lodge is a charming natural stone and thatch building that blends seamlessly into the surrounding landscape, while offering guests a five-star experience in the heart of the wilderness. After being re-built in 2020, the updated Kichaka Lodge is a modern uptake of traditional safari style and the ambience created is one of comfortable elegance.
 
Guests can enjoy incredible wildlife viewing from the comfort of the expansive viewing deck which overlooks Kichaka Lodge’s waterhole where animals gather to drink, bathe and play. Watch huge grey elephants wander through the greenery, pushing trees aside as they move, or herds of giraffe stroll across the horizon, casting long shadows. There is also a sociable cocktail bar and sitting area where guests can converse and swap exciting safari stories with one another while enjoying a refreshing beverage; and on clear evenings guests can delight in fireside dinners, held in the atmospheric boma under a sky of dazzling stars.

Sibuya River Camp

A fascinating 11km boat-ride up the Estuary from the seaside village of Kenton-on-Sea brings you to the jetty at River Camp. Only four spacious luxury en-suite tents skilfully hidden in the riverine forest maximize privacy for each tent and ensure an exclusive and personalised experience. Every tent has its own cosy fireplace to ensure a snuggly warm environment on chillier nights. Professional and passionate staff ensure a time to be spoilt and make memories to treasure. The Camp recommended for families with children visiting Sibuya. These enormous 75 m2 tents with sleeper couches that convert to two single beds for children sharing, ensure plenty of space for the whole family.

Kwandwe Ecca Lodge

Ecca Lodge rests in the Kwandwe Private Game Reserve, overlooking breathtakingly beautiful scenery and a dense valley of verdant trees, rich flora and incredible wildlife. Nestled amongst the treetops, the six wood and glass suites offer stunning panoramic views featuring an escarpment of steep shale cliffs. With light and airy atmospheres, stylish interiors and wraparound decks – complete with private plunge pools and outdoor showers, guests can enjoy a luxurious stay in the heart of the tranquil wilderness.
 
The family suites include a private vehicle and ranger, and are perfectly suited for 2 adults and 2 children, with two day-beds in the lounge for guests under 16. The lodge is intimate, relaxed and trendy with décor inspired by the vibrant colours and textures of our nearby villages.

Kwandwe Great Fish River Lodge

Kwandwe Great Fish River Lodge rests within a remote section of a private reserve, offering guests an exclusive stay with uninterrupted views of the sweeping wilderness. The rustic yet modern main building blends into the natural landscape and features large viewing decks to allow guests the best views of the surrounding nature, and the perfect spot for watching glorious sunsets or the incredible kudu as they meander down to the river for a drink.
 
The lodge consists of nine independent suites, all of which feature private plunge pools and a thatched terrace where guests can admire the passing wildlife, including the Big 5, and watch the many different species of birds fly over to the river. At night, the lack of light pollution allows for dazzling star-filled skies and guests can unwind with a refreshing beverage from your in-room bar before snuggling up in your king-sized bed and falling asleep to the sounds of the wilderness.

Tintswalo at Lapalala Wilderness

Tintswalo at Lapalala Wilderness offers something for everyone. Perfect seclusion and romance for honeymooners, suites ideal for families, and activities for every kind of animal and nature lover make this safari experience one to remember. There are seven suites in total – meaning the camp is small even when full – and all come with their own sparkling plunge pool and expansive balcony. The interiors of the rooms are comfortable and modern, with traditional safari furniture and decor. Spend your days exploring Lapalala Reserve and its conserved beauty on game drives and bush walks, enjoy dining in the heart of nature, and sleeping out underneath the stars. Tintswalo at Lapalala Wilderness operates completely off the grid, so you can enjoy the wilds safe in the knowledge you are making as little impact as possible.

Ant’s Hill

Perched on a cliff that offers sweeping views over the luscious valley, Ant’s Hill is rustic and authentic, offering a traditional yet comfortable safari stay. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are spacious and bright, all with private deckings where guests can enjoy gazing over the endless horizons. Guests can spend their days exploring the Waterberg, on a traditional game drive or guided walk, a dip in the heated pool, or a local village trip. One of the specialities on offer at Ant’s Hill is their horse riding safaris. Gallop through the wild Waterberg with the wind in your hair, becoming a part of nature. Return to the main lodge for a delicious freshly cooked meal and a glass of smooth South African wine enjoyed on the decking underneath the wide starry sky.

Madikwe Hills Private Game Lodge

Madikwe Hills Private Game Reserve has a prime location within the Madikwe Game Reserve and offers guests an elegant stay in the heart of the South African wilderness. Luxury suites are spacious and bright and all come complete with their own plunge pools with sweeping views of the endless horizons. A private villa is available for families who wish to experience a truly exclusive safari. Guests can spend their days exploring the reserve on an early morning game drive before returning to the lodge for a rejuvenating massage and refreshing dip in the sparkling pool before heading back out to experience the bush as the sun sets. Dinner can be enjoyed in the traditional dining room or outside by the pool and crackling fire pit underneath the wide starry sky.

Tuningi Safari Lodge

Located in the Madikwe Game Reserve is Tuningi Safari Lodge, surrounded by pristine and untouched wilderness. With a capacity of only 16 guests when full, the lodge has a private and exclusive feel. The suites are luxurious and comfortable with feature fireplaces for the chillier evenings and deep bathtubs for relaxing soaks. Private deckings offer the perfect space to unwind after a long day, gazing over the sweeping grasslands. There are two family suites which can accommodate up to four people and are perfect for families with young children. Days can be spent exploring the reserve on game drives and guided walks, or relaxing at the lodge with a massage or quick dip in the glistening swimming pool. Dinners are served under the shade of a fig tree surrounded by warm glowing lanterns and overlooking an active watering hole.

Jaci’s Tree Lodge

Nestled in amongst the vivid and luscious trees of Madikwe Game Reserve sits Jaci’s Tree Lodge. 4m high and connected by wooden walkways, the lodge immerses guests in the raw, untamed wilds of South Africa while offering them a luxury and relaxing safari stay. 8 treehouse-style suites place guests in the heart of their surroundings, opening up to let the outside breezes fill the suite, and are decorated with splashes of colour found in scatter cushions and patterned rugs.
