Onguma Tented Camp

Onguma Tented Camp is a beguiling mixture of sophistication and relaxation, of elegance and the earth.
It is this intriguing combination and attention to detail that makes Onguma Tented Camp, the ultimate in safari chic. In the local Herero language, Onguma means, “the place you don’t want to leave.” With a stunning main building and seven tents providing private, exclusive accommodation, Onguma Tented Camp, certainly lives up to its name.
An atmosphere of elegant dining prevails, complimented by the daily activities taking place around the watering hole, approximately 60 meters away. The surrounding nature lends itself to long lazy afternoons, spent relaxing on the sofas in the lounge, watching the animals go. And when things heat up, all that is required is a gentle stroll to the rim flow pool. Sit and relax in the flowing waters while enjoying an ice cold cooler. Alternatively if more strenuous activity is required, then relaxing on your patio and reading a good book should provide you with all the exercise you may need.

Ongava Lodge

The well-established Ongava Lodge is situated in the privately owned Ongava Game Reserve along the southern boundary of Etosha National Park. Placed as it is close to the top of a hill in the foothills of the Ondundozonanandana range, the vantage point is beautiful and overlooks a well-frequented waterhole and the plains beyond.
Ongava Lodge offers luxury accommodation in 14 rock-and-thatch en-suite chalets. There are impressive views over the camp’s waterhole from the main lounge and dining areas and there is also an inviting pool to cool off in the heat of the day. Meals are either served in the main dining area under thatch or on the dining deck under the stars.
Activities include game drives into Etosha, spending time in the camp hide, and nature drives and walks on the reserve. Ongava has resident white and black rhino, giving guests staying at Ongava the opportunity to see both species.

Mowani Mountain Camp

Mowani Mountain Camp offers luxury tented accommodation with magnificent desert views. Open air en-suite bathrooms and private decks give you great views of Damaraland and the reliability of nearby Twyfelfontein with its San engravings and paintings is contrasted by the elusive desert adapted elephants. The Twyfelfontein conservancy has been protecting the southernmost roaming ground of the black rhino and elusive desert elephant. Sustainable eco-tourism and community upliftment is of the utmost importance at Mowani. Guides from the local tribes compliment day-time game drives to track mountain zebra, kudu, springbok, klipspringer and if you are fortunate enough… the leopard! The adventurer itakes over at Mowani. Days are filled with game drives, hot air balloon trips over the Aba-Huab Valley, champagne breakfasts and al fresco meals amidst the dusky landscape beneath Mopani trees.

Kadizora Camp

Situated amidst the expansive savannah regions of the Northern Okavango lies Kadizora Camp, characterised by stretching grassy plains, scattered trees and astonishing wetland views. Ilkeliani Camp

Nestled in a river glade in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, the area is a favourite for elephants coming to drink from the Talek River. The camp has been designed to combine the old traditional safari style with a modern and fresh feel. Ilkeliani Camp offers only 17 tents and each commanding views of the plains and the wildlife action throughout the day. It is a permanent camp designed along eco-friendly principles. The ethos is to leave a minimum foot print on nature. Each well-equipped tents are stylish with en suite bathroom. They are sited under its own cluster of shady indigenous trees and you do feel that you are out in the wilderness. The interiors are spacious and comfortable featuring a front verandah with a day bed and canvas safari chairs. Lemala Ndutu Mobile Tented Camp

Lemala Ndutu Tented Camp is in the Ndutu region of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area near the border of the Southern Serengeti. This area is classic savannah, characterized by flat grassy plains, and our camp is in one of the finest locations in Ndutu to see the migration between December and March. Tens of thousands of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle usually arrive in December to graze on the newly-watered, highly-nutritious short grass plains, and then by February, the main calving season takes place. Predators – especially the big cats – are highly concentrated in the Ndutu area in these months. With 9 tents, Lemala Ndutu is perched on the edge of a permanent marsh, and acts as the ultimate amphitheatre to capture the boundless drama that accompanies the migration

Motswari Private Game Reserve

Motswari Private Game Reserve is located in the pristine, untouched wilderness of the Timbavati Game Reserve. 15 unique and luxurious bungalows await guests who wish to experience a traditional safari camp and all the adventures that come with it. The bungalows are comfortable and warm, each comes with their own ensuite and sheltered verandah area, perfect for relaxing in the evenings and watching the sun set over the lush bushveld. Perhaps the most unique experience at Motswari is the opportunity to sleep out under the stars in the purpose-built treehouse, where you can fall into a gentle sleep while gazing at the stars and hearing nothing but the gentle breeze rustling through the surrounding bush.

Kapama Buffalo Camp

Kapama Private Game Reserve is situated in the greater Kruger National Park region, the reserve is home to the Big 5 and an abundance of other animals. Reminiscent of a traditional old African safari camp. Kapama Buffalo Camp’s exclusive Tents are positioned on elevated platforms and surrounded by a forest canopy. There’s a seasonal river below, and Tents are connected to each other and the main lodge by raised wooden walkways.

Geiger’s Camp Motswari Private Game Reserve

Geiger’s Camp was originally a traditional family house and thus maintains a homely atmosphere, beyond its luxuriousness. Walls are decorated with stunning artworks, painted by owner, Marion Geiger-Orengo, brining the splendour of the outdoors inside.
An exclusive hideaway built from rock and stone, Geiger’s Camp comprises four private rooms, each with its own private deck overlooking the bush. This camp is ideally suited to families or small groups of up to six persons travelling together. Each room has been uniquely and tastefully styled by owner, Marion Geiger-Orengo along with Cape Town interior decorator, David Strauss, bringing together an eclectic mix of furniture and décor. The camp’s main deck has a private oval infinity pool with uninterrupted views of the bush, but guests are also able to make use of the Main Camp’s facilities, only two kilometres away.
