Lion Camp

Lion Camp is an intimate, privately owned safari lodge in one of the best safari locations in Zambia – South Luangwa National Park. It is built on the edge of an oxbow lagoon which attracts a wide variety of wildlife. Game viewing in and around camp is spectacular with lions, leopards, wild dogs, large herds of elephant and buffalo. The camp sees the highest concentration of hippo in Africa, incredible bird viewing, and plentiful sightings of the unique Thornicroft’s Giraffe, Cookson’s Wildebeest and Crawshay’s Zebra. Nkwali Camp

Situated on the banks of emerald lagoons in the diverse South Luangwa National Park is Mfuwe Lodge. Sapi Explorers Camp lies within a 118,000-hectare private concession which was awarded to Great Plains Conservation in 2016, who has managed and maintained it ever since. The site was converted into a private photographic reserve in the heart of an enormous conservation area. Kwando Tau Pan Camp is the first semi-permanent camp within the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, a vast landscape of sand ridges and dry plains. The Central Kalahari Game Reserve is over 50,000km square and is home to a wide range of wildlife including the long-horned oryx, the desert-adapted springbok, jackals, brown hyena, ostrich and herds of wildebeest. Kwando Tau Pan Camp consists of 9 suites that overlook the Tau Pan, or lion pan in Setswana, a large salt pan that is often visited by prides of regal black-eared Kalahari lions.
