Khayelitshe House

Khayelitshe House gains its name from the Ndebele words Ekhaya and Litshe, which mean home in the rocks. The rural guesthouse is set among the red granite boulders of Matopo, overlooking the vast wilderness that lies beyond the rolling stone hills. The Matobo Hills are one of the largest concentrations of exposed granite in the world, and have been home to many tribes over the last few thousand years. Travellers to the area can view the incredible San Bushmen rock art and visit a number of sacred sites, accompanied by a knowledgeable guide who can teach you about the customs and beliefs that the tribes followed. Guests can also enjoy hiking, biking and exploring the amazing landscape. Khayelitshe House consists of four luxurious en-suite bedrooms and is the perfect retreat for families or a large group of friends who are looking for a private and exclusive safari experience in a truly unique setting.

Vundu Camp

Vundu Camp stands along the banks of the Zambezi River, half-hidden amongst a cluster of ebony and tamarind trees that offer both shade and a sense of privacy. Due to its riverside location, Vundu Camp is closed over the rainy season (December to April) when the riverbanks flood. The camp lies within a private concession within Mana Pools National Park, giving guests exclusive front row seats to exciting wildlife viewing from the comfort of the camp itself. The eight thatched chalets provide a luxurious setting for relaxing and waiting for the incredible local wildlife to come to you. Each room has a lounge area and outdoor seating that overlooks the tranquil waters of the Zambezi River, where guests can look out for hippos and crocodiles. Vundu Camp is also home to a number of wild dogs (also known as painted wolves) and the camp’s owners, Nick and Desiree Murray, worked alongside Sir David Attenborough for BBC’s Earth Dynasties painted wolf episode – shot at Vundu Camp.

The Royal Livingstone

The Royal Livingstone Hotel is located on the banks of the Zambezi River, a stone’s throw away from the thundering waters of Victoria Falls, in the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park. Amanzi Camp

Located on the riverbanks of the Zambezi River, in the diverse wilderness of the Lower Zambezi National Park lies Amanzi Camp. Anabezi Camp

Anabezi Camp is located on the banks of the sparkling Zambezi River, in the wilds of the Lower Zambezi National Park. The local environment is protected by the design of the camp, all tents are built on stilts to maintain the ecosystems of the land. Guests can stay in one of 12 modern and spacious tents, sophisticatedly decorated with modern furniture and comfortable touches, such as cosy sofas and soft cushions. Spend the afternoon in the glistening swimming pool with a view, so no meandering animals are missed. Or adventure around the park on a game drive or walking safari, both excellent ways to immerse yourself in nature. Chiawa Camp

Located on the banks of the Zambezi River, in the diverse Lower Zambezi National Park is Chiawa Camp. Baines’ River Camp

Chongwe River House

Chongwe River House represents award-winning safari design at its absolute finest. This charming, two storey, four bedroom private house is set on a serene stretch of the Chongwe River against a magnificent mountainous backdrop. The Chongwe area is well-know for its population of elephants which will frequently wander through the camp in search of seed pods from the winterthorn trees.
