Bilimungwe Bushcamp

Looking over 3 natural waterholes with many herds of elephant, Bilimungwe Bushcamp is a hidden gem tucked away under huge mahogany trees. The 4 large thatched chalets sit on stilts and have magnificent views of one or two of the three watering holes. Bilimungwe has a magnificent secret breakfast spot on the edge of Luangwa Valley, perfect to watch the sunrise over the Chindeni hills, as well as a boma ready-made for surprise outdoor dinners under the stars!

Chongwe River Suites

Indulge in luxury and seclusion while immersing yourself in the wildest of settings! Wake up to birdsong as the sun rises over the Zambezi River, reflecting the colours all around you. Playful vervet monkeys will scamper through the canopy above as you watch a herd of elephants feed on the seed pods dropped from a nearby tree. Named for local, indigenous plants that grow in the area, the Cassia and Albida Suites are tucked under ancient towering trees at the convergence of the Chongwe and Zambezi Rivers. The one-bedroom Cassia Suite is a private suite for two, perfect for honeymooners and couples, while the two-bedroom, two-bathroom Albida Suite sleeps four guests and is great for families or friends travelling together.

Flatdogs Camp

Flatdogs camp offers a blend of unique accommodations beside the South Luangwa National Park. From an opulent two bed-roomed tented house with private pool, to the wilder Jackalberry Treehouse built on platforms around four live Ebony trees, over-looking a game rich waterhole. Kaingo Camp

Kafunta River Lodge

Kafunta River Lodge is a classic Zambian safari lodge, combining all the essentials for a great safari, located on the floodplains of the Luangwa River, away from the busier area near the park’s Mfuwe gate. During the peak season the lodge accesses the national park via its own pontoon. The lodge was fully renovated in 2019 and offers a relaxed atmosphere with great attention to detail. Made up of just ten charming chalets, the lodge also boasts a spacious bar and dining area at the heart of the retreat – where delicious cuisine is utterly enjoyed.
