andBeyond Bateleur Camp is a luxurious safari accommodation made up of two camps, each with just 9 tented rooms. Guests will be able to enjoy a lavish safari experience from the comfort of a spacious safari tent with a double bed and en-suite bathroom. Each tent in this private camp is served by a personal butler to ensure that all of your desires are met. The camp rests amongst the forest trees that lie along the foot of the Oloololo escarpment which forms the Northwest boundary of the Maasai Mara National Reserve. The tents are positioned on raised hardwood decks and their verandahs overlook the reserve, which guests will be able to explore during game drives and guided walks. Enjoy the picturesque landscape where the final scene of ‘Out of Africa’ was filmed, and experience the incredible wildlife of the Maasai Mara.

Elewana Serengeti Pioneer Camp

Elewana Serengeti Pioneer Camp lies in the Southern Serengeti region, within the Moru Kopjes area. The camp consists of twelve luxury safari tents with decor that is reminiscent of the 1930s, an era of exploration and adventure, with small touches such as copper basins with water-pump tap fittings and luggage trunks used for seating. The rooms feature soft double or twin beds and full en-suite facilities. This authentic safari experience at a ‘zero footprint’ camp allows guests to immerse themselves in the natural world and admire the sweeping views of the plains and grasslands where incredible wildlife including the Big 5 lurk in the greenery. Cottar’s 1920s Safari Camp

Cottar’s 1920s Safari Camp is situated in a private 7608-acre conservancy which borders the Maasai Mara and the Serengeti. Owned and managed by the Cottar family, the camp is luxurious with 1920s touches of glamour, yet still feels like an authentic safari camp. Warmly lit ‘mess areas’ offer the perfect place for guests to enjoy a drink or meal with the other guests and form new friendships through your shared safari experience.
The camp only accommodates 28 guests when at capacity, add on to this the location in a private conservancy and you have a camp which is intimate and exclusive. The tents come complete with large, comfortable beds, vintage furniture, and their own private veranda where guests can spend the evening relaxing and marvelling at the pristine nature and rolling hills rising from the horizon. Explore the Cottar’s conservancy on a game drive or on foot keep[ing your eyes peeled for lions, hyenas, elephants, giraffes and cheetah.

Lamai Serengeti

Jack’s Camp

Jack’s Camp is a luxurious authentic safari camp that lies scattered between towering palm trees and lush woodland. The camp is designed with green canvas and natural colours so that it blends in with the natural landscape and causes minimal disruption to the wildlife that already exists there. The camp’s inconspicuous design also pays homage to the remote open space of the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans, and the “savage beauty of a forgotten Africa” that explorer Jack Bousfield become enraptured by during his expedition there in the 1960s. As of 2021, Jack’s Camp has just been rebuilt, and the rejuvenated camp is ready to welcome back guests to its lounge and museum area, swimming pool pavilion and 9 luxury tents.
