Bwindi Lodge

Bwindi Lodge, overlooking the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is undoubtedly the finest luxury lodge in the Bwindi area. The lodge’s elevated location raised high amid the jungle canopies across a serene stream offers spectacular views of the encompassing forest-scape. The lodge is perfectly situated for a Ugandan jungle gorilla tracking experience, including frequent sightings of gorillas that come to relax in the verdant bush around the lodge. The luxury forest lodge in Bwindi, fully renovated in 2018, now features a redesigned guest lounge and dining area that brings the feel of the forest into the stylish interiors. The main living area has a central fireplace which acts as a focal point for guests to relax and discuss their gorilla tracking experiences. A newly designed outdoor terrace gives dramatic views of the impenetrable forest and is a great place to spot the monkeys and birds hidden in the foliage.

Lemala Wildwaters Lodge

In a truly unique location, surrounded by the rushing waters of the River Nile sits Lemala Wildwaters Lodge. Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp is located in the dense and biodiverse Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. 10 luxury safari tents offer all creature comforts whilst being environmentally conscious and ecologically respectful. Rooms are surrounded by forest, filled with natural light and decorated in earth tones, with private verandas perfect for relaxing and immersing yourself in nature. Guests can dine in the dining cottage, with outstanding views of the rainforest guests will never leave dinner disappointed – with the food or with the view. The main activity on offer at Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Lodge is gorilla tracking, hike to a habituated family of gorillas and spend some time marvelling at their friendliness, beauty and power. After tracking gorillas the rest of the forest is waiting to be explored, and guests can go on a variety of hikes which lead to prime bird watching areas and the surrounding local communities. After a long day exploring guests can wind down with a stress-relieving massage from the spa.

Little Chem Chem

Little Chem Chem lies out the outskirts of a lush acacia forest, overlooking the tranquil waters of Lake Burunge. The camp’s position within its own private concession, adjacent to the Tarangire National Park, means that guests can look forward to abundant wildlife sightings, including the large volume of elephants within the local area. With towering baobabs scattered around the camp, the meandering Tarangire River, and the backdrop of the striking Babati mountain range, you will be able to enjoy endless beautiful views in a peaceful and relaxing environment. Enjoy exclusive game drives in the private concession, and look out for lions, cheetahs and leopards as they laze in the warm sunshine. Chem Chem Lodge

Chem Chem Lodge is situated within a private concession between the vast waters of Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Park. The lodge and 8 safari tents blend in with the lush natural landscape, causing minimal disruption to the wildlife and allowing guests to enjoy endless views of the swaying grasses and the palm and acacia trees. Each of the tented suites is a luxurious haven, furnished with natural woods and textiles, and looking out over the emerald landscape. Lemala Nanyukie

Lemala Nanyukie is a recent addition to Lemala’s collection of luxury safari camps, having opened in late 2018. The camp has been designed with modern facilities, its luxurious decor combines with a contemporary safari aesthetic to create a stylish yet comfortable home away from home. The 15 tented suites are situated just outside of the Seronera circuit, overlooking the sweeping savannah grasslands and rocky outcrops where big cats laze on sunny afternoons. Guests can also expect to see herds of wildebeest passing through and grazing within the camp’s grounds during the Great Migration. Between April and June, and November and January, you will be able to enjoy a front-row seat for witnessing this incredible annual parade of wildebeest, zebra and gazelles.
