To reach the private islands, guests will take a 40 minute seaplane journey South of Male or alternatively a 30 minute domestic flight to Dhaalu Atoll followed by a short 7 minute speedboat transfer.

A series of mini documentaries has been created in collaboration with marine biologists and conservationists who do vital work that protects the wildlife and marine life across Anantara’s resorts. The sustainable straw initiative is a movement to eradicate single-use plastic from resorts. With roots in Asia, a local artist named Khamchan Yano introduced fast-growing bamboo that could be used and reused as a natural alternative to straws. As plastic is one of the main polluters of the ocean and marine life they are hoping to inspire other resorts to make the change as well as guests themselves.
