The Prestige Junior Suites are serene and luminous, with the decorations of the rooms creating a chic and warm atmosphere. A beautiful wallpaper behind the fourposter bed is not only a reminder of the surrounding nature but that we are here in Mauritius, a tropical island on the 20º parallel South! The Junior Prestige Suites boast of a cosy, comfortable lounge and a lovely deck floor terrace opening onto the garden.

Room Features:

The Senior Suite is a large and very welcoming bedroom with marble-topped tables and a tropical wallpaper. In the lounge area, the Persian carpet, desk, chair, copper and opaline lamp have all come from antique shops, giving it that chic look. The comfortable sofas and appealing bookshelf full of little trinkets give these suites a homely feel after a hot day at the beach. A rattan armchair patiently awaits you, with the option a nice open-air terrace if you prefer the outdoor feel.

The Dining Room is the hotel’s primary restaurant for breakfast and dinner. It serves as an introduction to contemporary Mauritian cuisine and offers an authentic feel and taste of the island nation. Couple that with the chic feel of white china and elegant cutlery and you are guaranteed to have a fine time dining here.

The Dining Room’s signature dish is a savoury Chestnut Pie with vanilla-flavourings, vegetable crisps and cream cheese sauce.

XO is a cosy yet sophisticated restaurant which offers a diverse selection of healthy Sushi options, seasoned with various subtle mixes of fruits, herbs and spices.

This restaurant’s signature dish is a Maki Tempura with fresh river prawns and Hijiki seawood cooked in sake.

If you fancy something a little more romantic, The Cove is found between the lagoon and the main swimming pool, snuggled between Coconut trees and is a treat for those with a taste for sea food. It is in perfect harmony with its surroundings and makes for a delightful retreat for couples in a similar harmony.

The signature dish is Vanilla-flavoured Lobster on Avocado Tartar, topped with Ginger Crumble.

Placed right on the northern shore overlooking the lagoon, The Peninsula offers a meal with a view. Serving Tapas of the World and other meals to share, it’s a perfect pick for your lunch or dinner plans. A more contemporary and trendy venue compared to the other options, its modern sensibilities are fused together perfectly with the local architecture in which its placed.

The Peninsula’s signature dish is a Tapas Mix, Treasures of the Sea.

Located on the shores of Mauritius, the Beach Bar is open 24/7 as a self-service option, meaning you can get a cocktail at any time you like. Bar service is also available between 8am and 8pm.

Open from 10am to 11pm, the Peninsula Bar is part of the Peninsula restaurant and features a gorgeous view over the lagoon for you to stare at as you enjoy your drink.

The Stay Bar is open from 8am to 11:30pm.

There’s a lot of water out there and plenty of ways to experience it. See the wildlife in the ocean below from glass-bottom boats or get up close and personal with it via a spot of snorkeling. If you fancy feeling the wind in your face, have a go windsurfing, wakeboarding or kayaking, or explore at your own pace with stand up paddle-boarding or pedal-boating. Hobie waving is also a lot of fun for those a bit more daring.

If you’d prefer to stay closer to home, you can choose from three pools: the main swimming pool (150cm deep), a new lap pool (120cm), or the infinity pool with a view of the Northern islands (120cm deep, heated in winter).

You can go on a private catamaran trip for two, including the option of a sunset cruise, complete with canapés and a glass of Champagne. Perhaps you’d like to step onboard a pirogue which takes you away from the mainland and onto the shores of Bernache and Ambre. The outdoor spa is a fantastic way to unwind, with specialised massages for couples, and that could be followed up with a private dinner in the love nest and a bit of stargazing to finish the day.

For an extra cost, you can make your trip even more special. Head on a private cruise in a 12-seat catamaran with a dedicated crew or plunge into the Indian Ocean and discover its wonders with some scuba diving.
