The Couple Seafront rooms have a breathtaking view of Trou d’Eau Douce lagoon and Île aux Cerfs Island from their furnished terrace or balcony. The rooms are painted in colours like a sunrise and while similar in furnishings, they are not completely identical. These rooms have a double bed or twin beds and can accommodate 2 adults.

These rooms, all found on the ground floor are beautifully furnished with rattan stools, and mosquito nets over the beds. The lounge area is the perfect place to curl up with a book while enjoying the fresh air that comes in through the wide open sliding doors. This room accommodates 2 adults.

Each of the 11 spacious ground floor villas has a private swimming pool and a hammock that just calls for you to have a nap in it. Bright and airy, decorated in the colours of dawn, the villa offers a trendy and relaxed atmosphere for you to enjoy and opens out onto a furnished terrace and garden with two sunbeds to relax in. The villa accommodates 2 adults.

Hotel Attitude’s signature restaurant blends spice and exquisite tastes in traditional Mauritian cuisine for dishes that reflect the island’s culinary traditions. 

Dinner: from 19:30 to 21:30

Taba-J gives you a taste of Mauritian street food straight from the bright blue 4-wheel tin cart stationed in between the beach and the kid’s club. Chilli bites, rotis, dim sum, aubergine fritters, and pickles are just some of the local signature foods offered!

Lunch: from 12:30 to 15:00

Tea time: from 16:00 to 18:00

The main restaurant offers tasty and multi flavoured cuisine at a picturesque location on the beach. Take a trip across the world with the international food on offer, finding yourself at times in Asia or India at others in Europe or Africa. Upon request, you will be provided with a picnic basket for your special Ile aux Cerfs excursion or Otentik Discovery outing.

Breakfast: buffet from 07:30 to 10:00

Lunch: buffet or à la carte from 12:30 to 15:00 or picnic basket on request

Dinner: special theme buffet or table d’hôte from 19:30 to 21:30

This chilled out bar overlooks the sparkling pool and provides a cosy lounge area for you to sit in. Enjoy an exotic cocktail while sitting on the swings at the bar and chat to the friendly barmen. Soft music and the ocean breeze come together to create the perfect mood for a relaxed evening sipping drinks and chatting.

The first stop aboard the Catamaran is Grande Rivière Sud-Est waterfalls. Then the catamaran sails towards the sandy bank off the village called Deux Frères. Here you will be able to enjoy a dive in the clear waters of the East Coast or a swim in the lagoon before a very tasty barbecue prepared on board (drinks: water, beer, and cool drinks included). Next the Catamaran heads toward île aux Cerfs, pausing to give you time to sunbathe, swim or shop before returning to the hotel and Trou d’Eau Douce. 

Departure from the hotel jetty at 09:30 and back at the hotel at 16:00.

Most of the staff grew up in Mauritius and with the Otentik Experience of dinner with a local family, 100% of the cost goes to your hosts. The hotels run music competitions to discover incredibly talented up-and-coming musicians and the art in the hotels is created by local artists.

All the hotels in the Attitude brand have a zero single-use plastic policy for guests to reduce the amount of unnecessary plastic waste the hotel produces. You will get a reusable water bottle upon arrival that you can use for the duration of your stay and can take away when you leave!

Use the free mineral suntan lotion that’s kind to coral so you can go snorkeling and visit the Marine Discovery Centre at Lagoon Attitude to talk to the scientists and learn about the island’s fragile lagoon. Guests are encouraged to join in litter picking – a lot of the interior design touches are made from upcycled materials that were litter on the beach.

Attitude hotels have switched to greener energy systems in their hotels. Solar water heaters and outdoor lighting has been introduced across the hotels. AC door switches make sure that the air conditioner automatically turns off if the doors open, and all the light bulbs in the rooms and common areas are LED bulbs.

Attitude created the Marine Discovery Centre aiming to inform and act together. The Centre is located at Lagoon Attitude hotel and has two full-time scientists who train and educate the local population, fishermen, and guests who visit. They help everyone to understand the beautiful environment and how to help protect it. An underwater trail was created that highlights the beauty of the seabed without damaging it. The trail educates you about the fragile ecosystem.
