The Nature Lodge

The Nature Lodge is beautifully located on an escarpment 30km from Antsiranana and 7km from Montagne d’Ambre National Park offering guests an incredible space from which to explore the natural beauty of northern Madagascar. The eco-friendly lodge is made up of 12 individual stilted chalets with private terraces which offer guests panoramic views over the nearby forest and the Indian Ocean.
Set up in 2016, the owners of Hotel Nature Lodge have intensely replanted the land with endemic plants in an attempt to recover it from its former agricultural use, the plot was part of a pilot program for Environmental Impact Studies which has since been implemented across the country by the National Environmental Office.

Shawa Luangwa Camp

Shawa Luangwa Camp rests on the eastern bank of the Luangwa River, overlooking the sweeping landscape of the South Luangwa National Park. Here, guests can cross the tranquil river waters on a boat or pontoon, explore the wilderness on exciting game drives and immerse themselves in the beauty of the pristine natural sanctuary. This seasonal camp was inspired by Jacob Shawa, an incredible guide who grew up in the Luangwa Valley and shares a passion for the wildlife and scenery that exists here.
Open from April 15th until November 15th, Shawa Luangwa consists of five luxurious tented rooms with twin and double beds, and two of the tents can be converted into a spacious family suite. Guests can take advantage of the different morning and evening activities and spend the time in between relaxing in the soothing plunge pool, or listening to the gentle melodies of South Luangwa’s many different bird species.

Relais Du Kirindy

Relais du Kirindy is located within Kirindy Mitea National Park. The accommodation is made up of individually appointed stilted wooden bungalows, each featuring a terrace that offers guests spectacular views over the grounds and park, home to a diversity of endemic wildlife and dotted with breathtaking baobab trees.
The onsite restaurant offers continental breakfast every morning, and an a la carte lunch and dinner menu with authentic Malagasy dishes. The dining room opens out onto the pool and bar area, where guests can enjoy a sundowner whilst enjoying the stunning surroundings.

Hotel Gran Melia Iguazu

Nestled amongst the luscious jungle of the Iguazú National Park, Hotel Gran Melia Iguazu enjoys close proximity to the Alto Paraná Atlantic forests and overlooks over 250 cascading waterfalls. The hotel features a range of luxurious amenities including three glamourous restaurants, a range of bars including the soothing poolside bar and rooftop terrace, and a refreshing swimming pool with incredible views over the jungle (a seperate children’s pool is also available).

Rincon del Socorro

Rincon del Socorro is a picturesque eco-lodge nestled in the heart of the Ibera National Park. The lodge features just 11 charming rooms and is ideal for families, with a range of recreational activities available throughout the day – including a peaceful reading and board games area. At Rincon del Socorro, guests can explore and admire a range of beautiful and diverse ecosystems which are all brimming with wildlife. Gaze across the sweeping savannas, flooded grasslands, Caranday palm groves and tranquil woodlands and listen out for the tunes of over 350 different bird species.
The lodge is set within a 30,000-acre private reserve on the edge of Ibera Provincial Park, where guests can enjoy a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere and immerse themselves in the local flora and fauna. Look out for beautiful maned wolves, anteaters, capybara, deers and adorable otters that thrive in Ibera – one of the world’s largest freshwater wetlands.

Time and Tide Chinzombo

Located on the banks of the Luangwa River, Time and Tide Chinzombo is a chic and exclusive safari camp. 5 luxury safari tents all come complete with an expansive verandah and a private sparkling swimming pool. Days can be spent lounging on your private verandah, gazing over the river and spotting lazing hippos and wading birds. Or you can head out on game drives or guided walks to truly immerse yourself in the wild bushveld. After these activities guests can return to camp for an in-room spa treatment or a refreshing drink from the bar before ending the day with a delicious meal with a sweeping view of the stunning surroundings.

Toka Leya Camp

Toka Leya Camp sits on the banks of the Zambezi River, nestled in the heart of the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. The camp has a calming and luxurious atmosphere, with 12 canvas tents on raised platforms, looking out over the wide rolling grasslands. Guests will hear nothing but the sounds of birds calling and insects chirping whilst they relax and eat dinner or enjoy a drink on their decking, under the wide unpolluted Zambian sky. All the tents are comfortable and authentic, with wooden features and cosy four poster beds. Ensuite bathrooms and private verandahs come with all the rooms, and they are filled with natural light through wide windows. The camp is in a prime location, with Victoria Falls not far away, guests can spend time exploring the magnificent wonder of the world, or can spend time closer to home, exploring the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. For guests who wish to have a more relaxing experience then the camp can offer spa treatments, followed by a dip in the sparkling swimming pool.

Sand Rivers Selous

Sister camp to the closely situated Kiba Point Selous, Sand Rivers Selous shares its proximity to the Rufiji River, a fertile hub of wildlife activity that draws an abundance of plains game year-round, particularly in the dry season where water sources dry up, resulting in greater concentrations around the river. Chinzombo

Named after a type of tree which grows nearby, Time + Tide Chinzombo’s natural building materials and vintage accents combine modern style with a traditional bush safari camp. The six spacious safari tents (including one two-bedroom, two-bathroom family tent) sit underneath ancient msikzi trees, evoking a sense of time travel back into the past. Each one comes with a private pool and soaking tub, with panoramic views over the river and its widespread wildlife. Relax on your verandah overlooking a meandering curve of the Luangwa River and let the local hippos lull you to sleep. Wake up with the majestic elephant just outside your villa. Mayaland Hotel and Bungalows

Mayaland Hotel and Bungalows is a magical getaway in the heart of Chichén Itzá Archaeological Park. Open since 1923, the hotel is surrounded by ancient Mayan ruins and luscious greenery, giving guests an experience in an extraordinary location they will find nowhere else.
