Cleopatra Mountain Farmhouse

Cleopatra Mountain Farmhouse is located in the luscious midlands in the diverse Kwa-Zulu Natal province of South Africa. Fugitives Drift

Fugitives’ Drift is a Natural Heritage Site which overlooks both Isandlwana and Rorke’s Drift, where 22,000 Zulu warriors defeated the invading British troops in 1879. Guests can travel back in time with a tour of the battlefields and explore the land where the Zulu warriors defended their country. Fugitives Drift rests within a 5,000-acre game reserve which is home to an abundance of wildlife and birdlife. As well as tours of Isandlwana and Rorke’s Drift, guests can enjoy nature walks and fishing excursions along the reserve’s 22 km of river frontage.
 
Fugitives’ Drift was fully renovated in 2017, transforming the lodge into a luxurious selection of private cottages with en-suite facilities and verandahs that offer incredible views of the sloping valleys, meandering river and sweeping plains. This historical setting also features a museum, as well as a refreshing swimming pool and library.

Elewana Sand River Masai Mara

Elewana Sand River Masai Mara lies upon the banks of the river of which it takes its name. Nestled in the southern region of the 8,000km2 Greater Mara, this location sits near the Kenyan-Tanzanian border, adjoining the Serengeti and Masai Mara in one immense ecosystem. The ancestral homelands of the Maasai tribespeople are one of the most incredible ecosystems on the planet, enjoying warm temperatures year-round, with low humidity, this other Eden is a paradise for the wildlife, which includes the Big 5, 450 different bird species, and many, many more. These lush pastures attract 1.3million wildebeest and zebra each year, who migrate en masse from the Serengeti, in what has been classed among the Seven Wonders of the World. Elewana Loisaba Star Beds

The Loisaba Star Beds are a refreshing take on the safari accommodation experience. With custom made four-poster beds, which are wheeled out onto decks on stilts, these beds command a spectacular view over the plains outstretched below, and down to the waterhole, which is frequented by many of the marvellous game animals that guests will encounter whilst out on game drives. The craggy hillside provides an exciting backdrop from which guests at the Star Beds can enjoy superb views of the Loisaba Conservancy. The Elewana Loisaba Star Beds have 3 en suite double platform rooms, and one en suite family platform room with two double beds. Each have a naturalist design which melds with the surrounding rocky environment. The bathrooms are designed using the existing natural rock features, and are open plan for that ultimate shower-with-a-view.
