andBeyond Ngala Tented Camp rests within Ngala Private Game Reserve, which shares an unfenced boundary with Kruger National Park, South Africa’s largest wildlife sanctuary. bordering one of the biggest reserves in the world, Ngala is home to an amazing array of wildlife and 36,000 acres of pristine wilderness and stunning flora.
Meaning lion in Shangaan, the local language, Ngala is also dominated by several prides of lions, and large numbers of leopards. These elusive big cats can be spotted frequently on the reserve, including a few very rare white lions. And, guests who prefer dogs can look forward to the thrilling experience of speeding across the reserve in a safari vehicle, trying to keep up with packs of the endangered wild dogs as they work together to take down their prey.

andBeyond Kirkman’s Kamp

andBeyond Kirkman’s Kamp lies within the Sabi Sand Game Reserve and shares an unfenced boundary with Kruger National Park. This allows the free-moving wildlife to move between reserves without restrictions, expanding their territory and allowing them to live as nature intended. Guests can enjoy a classic safari experience, in a camp that calls back to an era of exploration. Kirkman Kamp enjoys an elegant 1920s aesthetic, with just 12 luxurious suites sat in the heart of the unspoilt landscape where elephants, antelope, rhinos and hyenas wander across the endless horizon.
The 26,000-acre Sabi Sand Game Reserve is also home to the elusive leopard, which is most commonly found after dark on an incredible nighttime safari. Scan through the darkness with a specially filtered spotlight (which causes minimal disruption to the wildlife) and let your senses overwhelm you as you explore the lively wilderness, filled with a whole host of amazing nocturnal species that can’t be found at any other time.

Cottar’s 1920s Safari Camp

Cottar’s 1920s Safari Camp is situated in a private 7608-acre conservancy which borders the Maasai Mara and the Serengeti. Owned and managed by the Cottar family, the camp is luxurious with 1920s touches of glamour, yet still feels like an authentic safari camp. Warmly lit ‘mess areas’ offer the perfect place for guests to enjoy a drink or meal with the other guests and form new friendships through your shared safari experience.
The camp only accommodates 28 guests when at capacity, add on to this the location in a private conservancy and you have a camp which is intimate and exclusive. The tents come complete with large, comfortable beds, vintage furniture, and their own private veranda where guests can spend the evening relaxing and marvelling at the pristine nature and rolling hills rising from the horizon. Ol Jogi has been family owned for over 40 years and is located in its own private 58,000 acre conservancy. Guests of Ol Jogi will have exclusive use of the whole conservancy allowing for unique opportunities not offered anywhere else. The house is nestled against a rock outcrop and it is surrounded by luscious grasslands, dense forest and a glistening lake. This diverse landscape in the Laikipia District of Kenya helps to preserve the Eastern Black Rhino, Grevy’s Zebra, and is also home to packs of African wild dogs. With 11 individual and eccentrically designed and decorated bedrooms, Ol Jogi is perfect for families or large groups of friends.
