Serengeti Safari Camp Central

Serengeti Safari Camp Central is a mobile camp that travels across the plains of Serengeti so that guests can follow the migration herds and enjoy the best possible game viewing year-round. One of the first of Greater Serengeti’s mobile safari camps, Serengeti Safari Camp Central packs up and moves to a new location 4-5 every 2-3 months. Guests are unable to stay at the camp while it is moving, however, you can enjoy revisiting this friendly home-away-from-home with guides who hold a collective 200 years of experience between them, while being able to experience a fresh stay in a completely new landscape. The camp is focused on being both environmentally friendly and comfortable, with eco flush loos and safari bucket showers as well as plush double beds within your Meru-style tents. Nimali Mara

Situated in the more remote area of Kogatende, in the northern sector of the Serengeti National Park, Nimali Mara Camp is an intimate and cosy safari camp that consists of only 10 tents. Located approximately 30 minutes from the Mara River in a small kopje, the camp merges seamlessly with the surrounding environment, seeming very much at home amongst the trees and boulders that amass the area. Serengeti North Wilderness Camp is a seasonal camp that’s open from June to November. It benefits greatly from the ability to migrate around some of the best game viewing areas of Serengeti National Park, all while complying to strict eco centred criteria. Comprising just twelve spacious tents (including a 4-bed family tent), each unit comes complete with an en-suite bathroom, al fresco bucket shower and generous amenities.
