Borneo Rainforest Lodge

This pristine Rainforest is also home to more than 340 species Birds, 124 species of Mammals, 72 species of Reptiles, 56 species of Amphibians and a staggering 200 species of plants per hectare. The mission of the Borneo Rainforest Lodge is to preserve the rainforest for the generations to come by limiting human activity and to minimise the carbon footprint. Zambezi Sands River Camp

Zambezi Sands River Camp is situated in the Zambezi National Park on the banks of the Zambezi River, upstream from the Victoria Falls. The camp has ten tastefully-appointed Bedouin-style tents, adding to the unique flavour of the camp. All are built on raised platforms with exceptional river views. Each tent features a lounge, bathroom, outdoor shower and private plunge pool. The main camp area includes a dining room, lounge and bar. There is a shaded outdoor deck for enjoying alfresco dining with a view of the river. Elephant can be found loitering on the mainland or in the river, while hippo, waterbuck and bushbuck frequent the reed banks and islands. Birdlife is prolific – African finfoot, African skimmer, pratincoles and Pel’s fishing owl all occur here. Chundu Island

Chundu Island is an exquisite paradise which lies 21 kilometres upstream from Zimbabwe’s extraordinary Victoria Falls, the largest curtain of falling water in the world. The island measures 1.4 kilometres in length and is positioned on the Zambezi River, meaning that it is only accessible by boat. From Chundu Island, guests can enjoy stunning views of the Zambezi River, as well as quick and easy access to Zambezi National Park. The camp consists of eight spacious palm-thatched suites with private decks that offer river views.
The area is ideal for bird watching enthusiasts, with over 400 species of birdlife that congregate within Zambezi National Park and by the river.
