Fox Jaffna

Fox Jaffna is a hotel resort just ten minutes outside of Jaffna town. It is a historic house that was once home to an illustrious Northern family that hides a tumultuous past. Once used as a treasury for insurgents before being claimed by the government as an office square, the property has since been reclaimed and remodelled by the owners into a luxury boutique hotel. Both modern and full of the history of its past, guests are sure to feel invited into the warmth of this historic building.
The hotel features a pool, sun loungers, lush gardens and art galleries to explore. Guests travelling as families, groups or couples will be sure to find something suited to them either in the nearby town or at the resort itself. Ongava Lodge

The well-established Ongava Lodge is situated in the privately owned Ongava Game Reserve along the southern boundary of Etosha National Park. Placed as it is close to the top of a hill in the foothills of the Ondundozonanandana range, the vantage point is beautiful and overlooks a well-frequented waterhole and the plains beyond.
Ongava Lodge offers luxury accommodation in 14 rock-and-thatch en-suite chalets. There are impressive views over the camp’s waterhole from the main lounge and dining areas and there is also an inviting pool to cool off in the heat of the day. Meals are either served in the main dining area under thatch or on the dining deck under the stars.
Activities include game drives into Etosha, spending time in the camp hide, and nature drives and walks on the reserve. Ongava has resident white and black rhino, giving guests staying at Ongava the opportunity to see both species.

Kosten Aike

Situated in El Calafate, Hotel Kosten Aike is just two blocks from shopping and restaurants and minutes from the International Airport. The hotel’s spacious accommodation includes private bathrooms, cable TV, work desks, and minibars. Guests can dine at one of the on-site restaurants or take advantage of room service for in-room dining. A bar is available for before and after dinner drinks.
 

Vundu Camp

Vundu Camp stands along the banks of the Zambezi River, half-hidden amongst a cluster of ebony and tamarind trees that offer both shade and a sense of privacy. Due to its riverside location, Vundu Camp is closed over the rainy season (December to April) when the riverbanks flood. The camp lies within a private concession within Mana Pools National Park, giving guests exclusive front row seats to exciting wildlife viewing from the comfort of the camp itself. The eight thatched chalets provide a luxurious setting for relaxing and waiting for the incredible local wildlife to come to you. Each room has a lounge area and outdoor seating that overlooks the tranquil waters of the Zambezi River, where guests can look out for hippos and crocodiles. Vundu Camp is also home to a number of wild dogs (also known as painted wolves) and the camp’s owners, Nick and Desiree Murray, worked alongside Sir David Attenborough for BBC’s Earth Dynasties painted wolf episode – shot at Vundu Camp.

Kapamba Bushcamp

Set on the banks of the shallow, spring-fed eponymous river, Kapamba is surrounded by some of Africa’s richest wildlife. Kapamba Bushcamp’s four stone chalets each showcase a wall that consists of a spider-web design of metal latticework, giving guests amazing views of the Kapamba River. Guests can watch the frequent wild visitors of the river from the multi-level main deck, or from the ease of their own private verandas or pool-size bathtubs. Watching an elephant bathe in the river can be quite an experience when you’re lounging in your own private plunge pool. Sundowners in the river and bush dinners are both popular additions to the itinerary for Kapamba stays. The bushcamp allows guests the opportunity to experience once-in-a-lifetime game drives and safari walks, encountering a wealth of wildlife and countless species.

Gorilla Safari Lodge

Gorilla Safari Lodge lies on the boundary line of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, amidst the banana and guava trees that offer the lodge a sense of privacy and seclusion. The landscape is rich with vegetation, offering views of the forest jungle which has stood for tens of thousands of years. Just five minutes from the starting point for tracking the Nshongi group of mountain gorillas, Gorilla Safari Lodge is a luxurious setting that features eight spacious chalets, each with their own private verandahs and stunning views of the tropical rainforest. The Nature Lodge

The Nature Lodge is beautifully located on an escarpment 30km from Antsiranana and 7km from Montagne d’Ambre National Park offering guests an incredible space from which to explore the natural beauty of northern Madagascar. The eco-friendly lodge is made up of 12 individual stilted chalets with private terraces which offer guests panoramic views over the nearby forest and the Indian Ocean.
Set up in 2016, the owners of Hotel Nature Lodge have intensely replanted the land with endemic plants in an attempt to recover it from its former agricultural use, the plot was part of a pilot program for Environmental Impact Studies which has since been implemented across the country by the National Environmental Office.
