Ngorongoro Crater
Experience wildlife viewing in the natural enclosure that is the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest unbroken caldera. Formed around 3 million years ago when a volcano collapsed in on itself, the crater is home to a wealth of incredible flora and fauna. The mineral-rich ground is perfect for a variety of plant life, and this attracts hundreds of bird species. A large portion of the crater is occupied by Lake Magadi, a soda lake which has a brilliant pink hue. This lake is also home to thousands of lesser and greater pink flamingoes.
Serengeti
The endless plains of Serengeti are filled with abundant wildlife and offer unparallel game viewing opportunities. Guests visiting during the Great Wildebeest Migration will be able to witness the greatest show on Earth, as 2 million herbivores, consisting of wildebeest, elands, antelope and zebras, race towards the Maasai Mara before their food supply can be wiped out by the dry season. Serengeti is also home to Tanzania’s oldest national park and offers uninterrupted scenic views in a protected and preserved region.
Mnemba Island
Mnemba Island is a tropical paradise where travellers can unwind and relax on a pristine sandy beach, or venture out into the ocean on a variety of water activities including snorkelling, stand-up paddle boarding and scuba diving. Mnemba Island is a small island that lies just 3 km off the Zanzibar Archipelago, and offers guests a private and tranquil end to this incredible trip.
