Mango House has its own onsite Café which is open every day from 8am until 7pm. Pop in for a delicious breakfast in the morning, as well as snacks and refreshing beverages throughout the day to keep you going.

Local Activities

The Galle Fort is home to an number of activities that are situated within walking distance of the Mango House. There is a good selection of museums to choose from if you’re into history, with the National Museum Galle offering a general history of the local area and the country it’s placed in, and the National Maritime Archaeology Museum showcasing a more nautical affair. The Galle Beach is a fantastic place to go sunbathing, and the Galle Fort Jumpers spot is popular with thrillseekers looking to leap into the Indian Ocean from a vast height.

Don’t forget to visit the clock tower either, a famous local landmark built in tribute to a local doctor.
