The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort

The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort offers guests a luxurious stay in one of their incredible overwater or beach villas. Guests can choose to stay over the lagoon itself, surrounded by incredible marine life and beautiful turquoise water which can be admired through the glass panels. The overwater villas also include a glass coffee table, meaning guests can view the fish, crustaceans, sharks and stingrays swimming and playing in the ocean below.

Secluded beach villas are also available, offering guests a more private experience surrounded by swaying palms on the white sands. On arriving, guests are welcomed by a team of butlers, who will lead you to the modern lobby with hints of Polynesian decor. Communal areas include 4 fine restaurants, 2 bars, a comfortable lounge and 2 swimming pools.

The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort, Bora Bora, French Polynesia

The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort rests in the East of Bora Bora Island, between the renowned Bora Bora Lagoonarium and the pristine White Sand Beach. The resort spans 44 acres, spread across three Motus, with incredible views of the ocean, lagoon and Mount Otemanu – one of Bora Bora’s two volcanic peaks.

Guests can reach The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort by taking a shuttle boat from the airport, taking approximately 20 minutes. Guests can also travel to the resort’s helipad from other islands.

Reef Side Garden Villa

The Reef Side Garden Villa rests amongst the swaying palms and tropical plants, with an open side that overlooks the shimmering waters of the Pacific Ocean. The 1 bedroom villa features a separate lounge, bedroom and bathroom, with spacious facilities and a charming outdoor terrace, complete with a dining gazebo, plunge pool and outdoor shower. Guests can enjoy relaxing in this private and tranquil setting, which is ideal for couples taking a romantic break together.

Relax on the comfortable king-size bed and admire the exotic wood and Italian marble interior. The reef side garden villas can cater for up to three guests, with cots or rollaway beds available for children.

Beach Side Villa

The Beach Side Villas are similar in layout to the Reef Side Villas, with a separate bedroom, living space and bathroom and spacious outdoor terrace. The beach villas are hidden by palm fronds, offering a more private stay. Guests can enjoy having direct access to the white sandy beach and waking up to the soothing sounds of the ocean.

The interior of the villas is decorated with Italian marble and elegant wooden detail, creating a sophisticated yet comfortable space where guests can relax and take in the surrounding natural beauty. Out on your private terrace, you will find a dining gazebo and plunge pool as well as a refreshing outdoor shower.

Overwater Villa

The Overwater Villas are located out over the lagoon, offering guests the rare chance to sleep over the waters. In the living room, guests can view the marine life below through the glass coffee table. The overwater villas include a bedroom with a king-size bed and bathroom and a comfortable living area with amazing lagoon views. Outside on your private deck, guests will find a shaded dining area, as well as sun loungers and direct lagoon access. Superior overwater villas are available with additional space and views of Mount Otemanu.

Royal Villas

The royal villas feature 2 bedrooms and bathrooms with mountain and ocean views. The spacious royal suites are available as reef side, overwater and beach side, and feature the modern comforts of the other villas, with a swimming pool, plasma TVs, personal climate control and 24-hour room service. The overwater royal villas also include glass panel flooring so that guests can enjoy looking out for rays, sharks, and fish beneath them in their own private and natural aquarium.

Royal Estate

The Royal Estate is a completely private compound, with coral walls separating it from the rest of the resort. Guests can enjoy a completely exclusive experience in this 1200 square metre haven consisting of an entrance lobby, 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a dining room and lounge with an adjoining professional kitchen, and an office. Outside, guests can relax in the open courtyard with a generous swimming pool with white glass mosaic tiles. The estate opens up to its own private beach facing Bora Bora’s stunning emerald lagoon.

The Royal Estate comes with butler service and a private chef is also available on request. Guests can enjoy a luxurious escape in the elegant wooden and Italian marble with Polynesian art displayed throughout. The master bedroom pavilion features a whirlpool, sauna and steam room, which guests will have exclusive use of, and a private gazebo.

Te Pahu 

Start the morning with a delicious breakfast at Te Pahu, an open-air restaurant where guests can sample the dramatic and tasty flavours that Polynesian cuisine has to offer. Enjoy a contemporary breakfast with beautiful water views.

On Wednesday evenings, guests can also delight in international dishes as part of the restaurant’s ‘Around the World’ theme. Mouthwatering buffets will be available, allowing guests to pick their favourite food and try something new. A Polynesian dance show is also held on Wednesday, giving guests an insight into Polynesian culture and traditions.

Aparima Bar

Aparima Bar is a casual and relaxing spot where guests can enjoy a light meal, delectable snacks and a refreshing beverage. Indulge in one of the bar’s fancy cocktails and enjoy a peaceful evening filled with pleasant conversation after a day of swimming or exploring. The bar enjoys a location between the main beach and main pool, offering stunning views of the water.

The Lagoon by Jean Georges

Enjoy a selection of tasty Asian-fusion cuisine at The Lagoon. The menu, created by Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, features delicious meals cooked using local produce and freshly caught seafood. Guests can enjoy fine dining against the backdrop of the ocean and Mount Otemanu, as well as refreshing drinks from the Lagoon Bar. The Lagoon Restaurant is closed on Saturdays and Wednesdays.

Far Niente

Sample hearty Italian inspired meals at Far Niente Ristorante. Guests can enjoy a range of classic dishes as well as an assortment of drinks that celebrate Italy and its culinary delights. Enjoy ocean views and time-honoured Italian traditions while taking in the beautiful setting of Bora Bora.

Bam Boo 

Bam Boo Restaurant offers guests a selection of Asian cuisine, including wok and teppanyaki options as well as a sushi menu. Watch expert chefs whip up amazing dishes before your eyes and savour the eastern flavours against the backdrop of the verdant greenery and sweeping waterfront. Bam Boo is closed on Mondays and Saturdays.

Miri Miri Spa

The Miri Miri Spa by Clarins is located beside the hotel’s inner lagoon where guests can enjoy sweeping views of the gardens and the towering Mount Otemanu. Treat yourself to a range of soothing treatments from the expert therapists using Clarins products, and feel rejuvenated and refreshed, ready to enjoy exploring the beautiful island of Bora Bora. Guests can receive treatments in one of the many spa cabins,  the relaxation lounge or outside in a tranquil garden space.

Fitness Centre

Stay on top of your workout regimen with a trip to the resort’s fully-equipped fitness centre. Visit the Lagoonarium

Take a trip to the Lagoonarium, a natural aquarium where marine life is bordered in by a lagoon. Guests can go snorkelling and swim amongst the amazing creatures that fill this protected habitat under the supervision of wildlife guides. View the coral nursery which provides a haven for the fish and crustaceans that can hide amongst the colourful coral.

Scuba Diving

Explore the mysterious underwater world with a scuba diving activity where guests can immerse themselves in the colourful sanctuary of Bora Bora’s barrier reef, swimming alongside amazing marine creatures including whitetip, hammerhead and grey sharks. Bora Bora is home to a number of dive schools with friendly staff that can cater for guests with varying levels of experience.
