Lemala Ndutu Mobile Tented Camp

Lemala Ndutu Tented Camp is in the Ndutu region of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area near the border of the Southern Serengeti. This area is classic savannah, characterized by flat grassy plains, and our camp is in one of the finest locations in Ndutu to see the migration between December and March. Tens of thousands of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle usually arrive in December to graze on the newly-watered, highly-nutritious short grass plains, and then by February, the main calving season takes place. Predators – especially the big cats – are highly concentrated in the Ndutu area in these months. With 9 tents, Lemala Ndutu is perched on the edge of a permanent marsh, and acts as the ultimate amphitheatre to capture the boundless drama that accompanies the migration

Okavango Delta Mobile Expedition

Botswana is home to more wildlife species than anywhere else on the continent. Witnessing the majestic animals of the Okavango Delta – the beautiful birdlife, languishing hippos and regal lions – out in their natural habitat is an opportunity like no other, and one that you wouldn’t want to have to tear your eyes from. Linyanti Expeditions

Linyanti Expeditions is an intimate mobile safari camp consisting of just 6 tents and is able to cater for a maximum of 12 guests. The expedition explores a private concession, rich with wildlife, located adjacent to the Chobe National Park. The mobile safari means that every day is full of unique experiences and gives guests a wider view of the vast Linyanti wetlands. Immerse yourself in Botswana’s wilderness and get back to nature as you sleep under the stars in a new location each night. Guests will also be able to participate in thrilling game drives, mokoro safaris and safari walks with the camp’s knowledgeable guides – giving you a full and educational safari experience.

Selinda Explorers Camp

Selinda Explorers Camp opened in 2012 and is situated in the Selinda Reserve on the bank of the Selinda Spillway, placed under the shade of African Ebony and Mopane trees. The camp has been designed to recall how early explorers would have stayed, in both philosophy and practice and this campaign design can be seen throughout the furnishings of the rooms. The camp is classic and authentic, drawing on traditions of East African safaris and built using recycled hardwood.
There are four custom-built tents, with authentic furnishings from Zanzibar and the East. The tents include two rooms, a personal verandah and a ‘bustani’ bathroom. The atmosphere of the camp is bush elegance; with all tents being at ground level, and the main areas being open-sided there is no better way of placing yourself within the surrounding environment. The camp is small, personal and light on its carbon footprint with attentive and professional staff enhancing guests’ experience.

andBeyond Savute Under Canvas

The semi-mobile tented camps of andBeyond Savute Under Canvas are thoughtfully positioned at secluded sites in the Savute corner of Chobe National Park allowing for outstanding game viewing opportunities and days and nights full of discovery and adventure. The camp has five cosy tents, each with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a flushing toilet and a hot bucket shower. With comfortable tents for dining, guests can meet for a pre-dinner drink or spend their time relaxing and absorbing the environment here between excursions. Mouth-watering meals are cooked over glowing coals each night by the welcoming and friendly staff. Chobe National Park, known as the “Land of the Giants,” was the first National Park of Botswana, established in 1968.

Roving Bushtops Central Serengeti

Roving Bushtops is a unique mobile camp within the Serengeti region that travels from Kusini in Southern Serengeti to Seronera in Central Serengeti. The mobile camp consists of 8 luxury tents with walls that can be opened on three sides to provide sweeping views of the ever-changing landscape. The portable nature of the Roving Bushtops means that travellers can get the most out of their safari experience and enjoy a return visit with the same friendly and familiar faces, but in a completely new location. All of the tents are packed into a mobile unit called the Rover. The non-permanent nature of the camp causes minimal disruption to the surrounding wildlife and leaves no lasting impact on the environment. One of the first of Greater Serengeti’s mobile safari camps, Serengeti Safari Camp Central packs up and moves to a new location 4-5 every 2-3 months.
