Location
Bahía del Sol Beach is a beach front and boutique hotel, located by Potrero Beach, one of the safest beaches of the Pacific Coast. Playa Potrero has an ideal location. It is surrounded by some of the most beautiful beaches of Guanacaste like Flamingo, Brasilito, Conchal, Grande, Penca and Prieta, but is a secluded beach and does not have the crowds and noises that accompany other tourist beaches. It is a perfect place to rest or to get involved in nature friendly activities.
Rooms
There are six categories of room available. Standard rooms are available with either two beds or a queen sized bed, with everything you need to enjoy this beautiful hotel. Deluxe rooms provide a king sized bed, a jacuzzi, and is the favoured category of guests. Family suites are available and sleep up to 4 adults in two seperate bedrooms with a queen sized bed and 2 twin sized, as well as a living room, dining room, and a balcony. The Junior Family suites provide the same experience but with a queen sized bed and a bunk bed. The Delux Superior room provides elegance and romance, featuring a king sized bed and a sofa bed. Lastly is the King Sun, or Honeymoon suite. Privacy, comfort and romanticism are blended here in this elegant suite, just a few steps from the ocean, the King Sun Suite contains everything to satisfy the most demanding customers, perfect choice for a romantic vacation.
Hotel Facilities
The hotel has various facilities to make your stay enjoyable and pleasurable. The Nasu Restaurant at Bahía del Sol specializes in international cuisine, offering creative tropical gourmet dishes. Guests can choose between traditional Costa Rican cooking with original local products or the most sophisticated international creations, served with a tropical touch! Or there is the Palapa Lounge. The Lounge is the perfect place to enjoy the colourful sunset and is the most beautiful location in Guanacaste to organize romantic weddings. Palapa Lounge Schedule 5:30 – 9:00 p.m.
Another favourite within the hotel is the Nahu Spa. Aside its special energy and environment, Bahia del Sol offers Spa services for a perfect relaxation. At Bahia del Sol, a big concern is environmental protection, for this reason they have developed different projects to protect nature and support local communities, and education among other initiatives. The goal is to be awarded with the 4 leaves of Sustainable Tourism Certification.
