Often when it comes to increasing sustainability, this process comes in small steps. At Kuredu they are making progress in reducing single-use plastics all over the island, from using glass water bottles and using toiletries from Healing Earth, a world renowned industry leader in luxury amenities that are organic and biodegradable.

If you’ve ever wanted to see some of the world’s most ancient creatures up close, or spark up a love of nature you didn’t realise you had, then the waters around Kuredu are the perfect spot. But, it is not only an incredible place to view them, Kuredu boasts its own resident sea turtle biologist from the Olive Ridley Project. This project is committed to protecting sea turtles in the Indian Ocean, and runs many research, education and rehabilitation programs to ensure the health of the majestic sea creatures. So come along to the Marine Centre on the island and learn for yourself all about sea turtles and the fight to protect them.
